Take the U 45 underground line (towards Westfalenhallen) to conveniently reach Dortmund's main train station (Westfalenhallen) in just 10 minutes.

From Dortmund centre (Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten underground stations), take the U 46 (towards Westfalenhallen) to get to Westfalenhallen station in around 5 minutes.

Alternatively, take the U 42 line (towards Hombruch) to ‘Theodor-Fliedner-Heim’ station. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the exhibition centre.

The route to the Westfalenhallen is signposted from these stations. All of the above stations are accessible for those with disabilities.

The exhibition centre at Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund, is easily accessible by bicycle from various parts of the city.

Travelling from central points in Dortmund:

  • Dortmund Central Station: From Dortmund Central Station, the distance to Messe Dortmund is about 4 kilometres. Follow the signs to the south via the B54 (Rheinlanddamm). There are signposted cycle paths along this route that will take you directly to the exhibition centre.
  • City centre (Reinoldikirche): Start in an easterly direction on Wallring and then turn onto the B1 (Rheinlanddamm). The route is about 3.5 kilometres long and easy to manage by bike.
  • Dortmund University of Technology: It is about 5 kilometres from the university to the exhibition centre. Cycle in a south-easterly direction via Otto-Hahn-Straße and follow the cycle paths along the B1 to the exhibition centre.

Bicycle parking facilities:

There are several bicycle parking spaces available at the exhibition centre. These are located in the immediate vicinity of the entrances and offer a secure way to park your bicycle during your visit to the exhibition centre. Please bring a suitable lock with you to secure your bicycle.

Four halls - two trade fairs

The SOLIDS and RECYCLING-TECHNIK trade fairs are situated in Halls 4, 5, 6 and 7 and are accessible via the North and West entrances. The exhibition centre is easy to access via public transport and offers numerous parking spaces for visitors.
