There are many ways to get to the Dortmund Exhibition Centre: we are particularly pleased to see visitors making sustainable journeys using the DB Event Ticket. You will also find charging points for your electric car in the immediate vicinity of the Exhibition Centre.

By train

By public transport
The U 45 underground line (towards Westfalenhallen) takes you comfortably from Dortmund Central Station to the ‘Westfalenhallen’ stop in 10 minutes.
From Dortmund city centre (Reinoldikirche or Stadtgarten underground stations), the U 46 (towards Westfalenhallen) will also take you to the ‘Westfalenhallen’ stop in around 5 minutes.
Alternatively, take the U 42 (towards Hombruch) to the ‘Theodor-Fliedner-Heim’ stop. From there, it is just a few minutes walk to the exhibition centre.
The route to the Westfalenhallen is signposted at the stops mentioned above. All the stops listed above are accessible to people with disabilities.

If you are using a navigation device, please enter “Maurice-Vast-Str” as the destination address. Once you have reached the destination address, please follow the local direction signs.
There are separate access routes and signs for the North and West entrances.

For anyone travelling by electric car, we have 2 electric charging points with a total of 4 charging stations in the immediate vicinity.

By bike
The exhibition centre at Rheinlanddamm 200, 44139 Dortmund, is easily accessible by bike from various parts of the city.
Directions from key locations in Dortmund:
- Dortmund Central Station: The distance from the central station to the Dortmund Exhibition Centre is approximately 4 kilometres. Follow the signs southwards along the B54 (Rheinlanddamm). There are designated cycle paths along this route which lead directly to the exhibition grounds.
- City centre (Reinoldikirche): Set off eastwards along the Wallring and then turn onto the B1 (Rheinlanddamm). The route is about 3.5 kilometres long and is easy to cycle.
- Dortmund Technical University: The exhibition centre is about 5 kilometres from the university. Head south-east along Otto-Hahn-Straße and follow the cycle paths alongside the B1 to the exhibition centre.
Bicycle parking facilities:
There are several bicycle parking spaces available at the exhibition centre. These are located in the surrounding area of the entrances and offer a secure place to park your bicycle whilst you are visiting the exhibition. Please bring a suitable lock with you to secure your bicycle.
