The world is changing rapidly. In today’s global economy, companies must adapt quickly and integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies more closely than ever before.

At Easyfairs, we are very aware of this shift. In fact, our innovative approach has already propelled us to the forefront of sustainable trade show organizers. We are proud of this progress, but we know that our journey toward sustainability and corporate responsibility is an ongoing process.

We make our trade fairs effective and responsible events for our community.

Easyfairs is committed to organizing the trade show in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner:

Our sustainability measures may vary depending on the trade show and location!

As part of the Easyfairs Group, we are a signatory to the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge and are committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 and halving our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

TOGETHER AGAINST BREAST CANCER

We support Brustkrebs Deutschland e.V. “Diagnosis: Breast Cancer—Prognosis: Life!” is the motto of this nonprofit organization. With a wide range of support and counseling services, it is there for those affected and their families, as well as for doctors.

We have organized several pre-event and on-site initiatives for this purpose. For example, there will be an information booth at the entrance to SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026; our team regularly participates in donation incentives; and visitor registrations, as well as the rebooking of our exhibiting companies, are tied to donations.

In 2024, we were able to raise an incredible total of €4,027 in donations. Thank you so much to each and every one of you for your support! We hope to receive plenty of support for the association again this year.

Tips for exhibitors

Dear Exhibitors: Join our green team and take action for the future!

If you’re exhibiting at a trade show, you play an important role in making the event more sustainable. Here are some practical tips on how you can make your participation more sustainable:

If possible, use public transportation or carpool with your coworkers.

Choose a hotel that is within walking distance and/or follows eco-friendly practices.

Consolidate your shipments and, whenever possible, use transportation and logistics companies that employ sustainable practices.

Choose local suppliers to support the local economy and reduce transportation distances.

Give preference to suppliers who meet environmental and social criteria.

Please bring your own reusable water bottle so you can use our water dispensers and help us reduce our use of single-use plastic.

If you serve food at your booth, choose locally sourced and plant-based products whenever possible, and avoid using single-use plastic.

Avoid wasting food and order only the amount you need.

Actively participate in the many initiatives and discussions during the event that will support sustainable development in your sector.

Inspire visitors by showcasing the sustainable features of your products.

Choose a reusable, all-in-one booth model from the event organizer, or design your own booth so that the structure can be reused multiple times, year after year. Work with your booth builder to make your booth as sustainable as possible! Avoid building a single-use booth just for one event…

Create reusable signs (without dates) made from recyclable materials and, whenever possible, using eco-friendly ink

Use LED lighting and other energy-efficient equipment for your booth, and don’t forget to turn them off at the end of the day.

Try not to use carpet, and if you really need it, opt for reusable carpet tiles. If you use regular carpet, make sure it is recyclable and that it is recycled.
