Dynamic exhibitor growth and optimised trade fair planning
(Dortmund) SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026 is experiencing dynamic growth in exhibitor numbers: around 9 months before the start of the trade fair, 75% of the stand space has already been allocated, including numerous new and long-standing exhibitors. In addition to a new Special Area for process automation and the popular Start-up Area, the BULK MASTERS Hackathon will take place once again. The trade fair duo offers companies exciting opportunities for presentation and networking in the bulk solids and recycling industry.
SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026 is experiencing strong demand. More than 75% of the available stand space has already been allocated 10 months before the start of the trade fair duo. Halls 4 and 5 are almost fully booked.
Since March, over 35 new technology companies have registered, including Habasit GmbH, Mesosoma GmbH, Peconter GmbH, Salmatec GmbH, Strabag AG and Zippe Industrieanlagen GmbH.
Many long-standing exhibitors such as Gotic GmbH, Lanz-Anliker GmbH, Burgener AG, Atlas Copco Kompressoren GmbH, Neuman + Esser GmbH, KMH-Kamann Metallbau GmbH, Craco GmbH, Münzer Deutschland GmbH, KKS Foodtec GmbH and Firefly AB (SE) have also decided to participate again. By reclaiming Hall 4, the organiser was able to optimise the layout of the halls, so that the trade fair duo will take place in Halls 4, 5, 7 and half of Hall 6. The organiser expects exhibitor growth compared to last year.
New special area for ‘process automation’ and start-up area
A significant innovation is the introduction of the Special Area for Process Automation in Hall 4. In this area, visitors will gain insights into the latest developments in automation technology. Solutions such as integrated services, human-machine interfaces (HMI), manufacturing execution systems (MES), sensors, switches and control systems will be presented. These technologies offer companies the opportunity to make their production processes more efficient and productive.
For the second time in a row, the Start-up Area will also be making an appearance, offering young companies the opportunity to present their innovative products from the bulk solids and recycling industry. In addition to the exhibition, the start-ups will also have the chance to present their solutions to a broad specialist audience in a presentation on the InnovationCenter stage in Hall 4. There are currently four spaces still available in the Start-up Area for interested companies. TEL GmbH, Reuter Fertigungstechnik and Lynatox / Smart 5 Services are among those who have already registered.
BULK MASTERS Hackathon: second round
The BULK MASTERS hackathon is entering its second round – following its successful premiere last year, it is once again offering technology providers and users the opportunity to register as challenge providers and submit their specific challenges from the process industry. These challenges will be tackled by students on site within 48 hours. The hackathon is a valuable opportunity to obtain innovative solutions to industry-specific problems and at the same time get in touch with talented young professionals.
Invitation to participate
SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026 invites all interested companies to become part of this dynamic trade fair. The fair will take place on 18 and 19 March 2026 at Messe Dortmund.
