They have been especially developed for use in extreme environments, e.g. high or low temperatures, explosive zones, very hygienic areas for foodstuffs or very dirty production halls. Examples from our comprehensive range include safety sensors in degree of protection IP 69, vibration-resistant Hall sensors, immersion-resistant foot switches in degree of protection IP 68, robust emergency pull-wire switches for underground mining applications and salt fog-resistant position switches in degree of protection IP 66.
One focus of this business field is switchgear for use in explosive zones, certified in accordance with European and international norms, such as ATEX and IECEx, as well as national stipulations, such as EAC and Nepsi.
