In the food, plastics and chemical industries, precise and clean dosing of bulk materials is crucial for the quality of the end product. With the newly developed eDos system, AZO presents a latest-generation dosing solution. It is particularly suitable for the exact dosing of small quantities in automated processes.
At the heart of the system is a dosing unit made of wear-resistant polyurethane (PU). It is optionally available in a food-compliant or silicone-free version. Thanks to its innovative design, there are no moving metal parts in the product flow. This means no metal abrasion, minimal maintenance and maximum process reliability.
Dosing itself is carried out by a servo-electric dosing gripper, which opens the PU dosing lip by applying targeted pressure, thus releasing a precisely defined material flow. Accuracies of up to ±1 g and a dosing capacity of 650 l/h are possible. The dosing process remains precise even with abrasive or difficult-to-flow products.
The system is rounded off by an integrated dust extraction system and a pneumatic knocker. This not only optimises discharge, but also significantly reduces dust formation – a real advantage in terms of cleanliness, occupational safety and environmental regulations.
