Bulk material slide gates are used for shutting off material streams of all kind. They vary in actuation and form. Manually operated devices are often implemented as emergency or maintenance slide gates to shut off flowing bulk materials. Pneumatically activated or motor-driven bulk material slide gates are for example used to control the in- and outlet of bunkers, silos, storage tanks or chutes as well as of conveying units such as screw, tube chain or trough chain conveyors.
SCHRAGE bulk material slide gates are solid all steel welded constructions in self-contained design, sealed by adjustable, all-round stuffing boxes, their end position monitored by initiators. Flange pattern bores are drilled according to SCHRAGE factory standard or customer specifications. Depending on the intended application they can be designed in almost all materials. The robust SCHRAGE bulk material slide gates feature inlet/outlet widths from NW 150×150 to NW 1000×1000 as well as round inlet and outlet profiles. Special designs such as needle valves are possible.
