The patent-pending HECHT containment drum emptying station with tilting device “CFE-K-OC” combines maximum containment with semi-automated drum handling. It enables low-contamination, safe and ergonomic emptying of drums up to OEB 3.

The entire process – from lifting the drum and positioning it at the airlock to automatically removing and replacing the drum lid – is semi-automated. This minimises manual intervention and therefore increases operator safety, process stability and efficiency.
