Manganese steel wear rails

Branscheid wear reils are made from high-manganese steel X120Mn12 (1.3401). The austenitic structure of this steel gives it its excellent toughness. While the hardness of the steel is between 200 – 220 HB when delivered, the surface hardness can increase to up to 600 HB due to strain hardening during operation.
