Emil Ludwig Hermann Bauermeister founded the company in Hamburg as a supplier of flour mills in 1882. Since 1900 the company is active in the cocoa and chocolate industry.
After becoming a member of the PROBAT Group in 1985, Bauermeister has become a specialist in grinding and classifying machinery and plants for the food, mineral and chemical industry.
