The business with spiral hoses is the core competence of Masterflex SE with production focus in Gelsenkirchen. In addition to extruded spiral hoses, clip hoses and foil hoses are developed, produced and sold. Connection elements such as sleeves, flanges, threaded connectors, clamps and other accessories complete the range. The range includes products that meet individual requirements and demanding tasks.

Irrespective of whether highly abrasive solids, aggressive chemicals, gaseous media up to +1,100 degrees Celsius or foodstuffs have to be transported: Masterflex hoses represent a flexible, application- and customer-oriented solution.

Masterflex has many years of experience in the processing of different polymer materials and technically demanding fabrics as well as the use of various production technologies such as profile extrusion, clip production, film and fabric processing or coating. PU spiral hoses are mainly manufactured by means of extrusion for industry and the food sector. But temperature-resistant clip hoses for exhaust gas extraction and foil hoses are also manufactured on several machines. Accessories such as sleeves, flanges, threaded connectors or clamps complete the range of solutions for flexible connection tasks.

With the new Master-PUR DualFlow 1.6 Food A, Masterflex SE is launching a hose solution that has the potential to redefine hygiene and process standards in sensitive industries. The hose solution meets the stringent requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 (including all amendments), FDA 21 CFR § 177.2600, and 21 CFR § 177.1680, making it perfectly suited for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. It features a novel thermoplastic inner lining. The seamless, edge-free surface within the hose optimizes the flow and sliding properties of media, ensures maximum hygiene, and is easy to clean. The result: No material residue, no breeding grounds for bacteria, no costly batch contamination, and maximum performance in the production and conveying process. The Master-PUR DualFlow from Masterflex SE marks the beginning of a promising DualFlow series. The unique feature of this innovative manufacturing method is the ability to combine different materials in a targeted manner – tailored to the individual process requirements of customers. Companies can work with Masterflex experts to develop their customized DualFlow system – precisely aligned with their applications and industry standards for maximum process reliability. These hoses are used in food production, bottling plants, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. In this application area, we offer a variety of hose solutions that are approved (compliant) for food contact. All models offer excellent abrasion resistance, flexibility, and robustness – simply due to the material and design. Depending on the conveyed medium and requirements, you can choose between highly flexible, lightweight, or heavier and robust food-grade hoses in a wide range of diameters. Electrically conductive food-grade hoses are particularly important for conveying powders (for example, flour) – and are, of course, available from us. We also offer high-temperature hoses and compliant hose systems for use in industrial plant peripherals.
