Process automation, start-up award and industry podcast: diversity at SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026

(Dortmund) – On 18 and 19 March 2026, SOLIDS Dortmund 2026 will celebrate its 20th anniversary. The 9th edition of RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund will take place at the same time. In four halls, exhibiting companies will present new and proven technologies and solutions for the bulk solids, process and recycling industries. Visitors can expect numerous highlights – including a new special area dedicated to process automation, the Polish Pavilion, a start-up award presented for the first time, and the new industry podcast ‘BULK-TALK’.

Dynamic exhibitor growth and optimised trade fair planning

(Dortmund) SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHNIK Dortmund 2026 is experiencing dynamic growth in exhibitor numbers: around 9 months before the start of the trade fair, 75% of the stand space has already been allocated, including numerous new and long-standing exhibitors. In addition to a new special area for process automation and the popular start-up area, the BULK MASTERS Hackathon will take place once again. The trade fair duo offers companies exciting opportunities for presentation and networking in the bulk solids and recycling industry.

Trade fair duo impresses with quality and innovative strength

(Dortmund) With a spectacular live explosion, the Solids & Recycling Technology trade fairs in Dortmund kicked off two eventful days on 9 October 2024. Around 400 exhibitors, a good 35% more than last year, impressed visitors with their solutions, and 4,150 trade visitors took the opportunity to talk to experts or follow the interesting supporting programme. The new exhibition area for process automation was just as well received as the separate start-up area with nine innovative young companies. The new side event, the ‘Bulk Masters’ hackathon, made a particularly deep impression.

Process technology is looking for creative minds and innovative ideas

(Dortmund) For the autumn date of the Solids & Recycling-Technik trade fairs on 9 and 10 October 2024 in Dortmund, organiser Easyfairs is leaving the beaten track and hosting a hackathon for the process industry for the first time – a modern, collaborative event that originally came from the software industry. Parallel to the trade fair, creative minds will come together in several teams at the ‘Bulk Masters’ hackathon and develop innovative solutions for current challenges in the industry under the mottos ‘Food goes Powder’ and ‘Young Professionals’. Lucrative prize money awaits the winners of the creative contest, who will be selected by an independent jury after the presentation of the results on the second day of the trade fair.

Trade fairs impress with an explosive program

(Dortmund) On 9 and 10 October 2024, the two trade fairs Solids & Recycling-Technik will once again be taking place in Dortmund with an impressive overall program. In addition to the high-quality exhibition and 390 renowned technology providers, an innovative hackathon, exciting lecture series and selected themed routes await trade visitors this fall. On the outdoor area, spectacular live explosions with top cyclist Robert Förstemann will provide additional entertainment. With a focus on digitalization, artificial intelligence, sustainability and process automation, the organizer is once again focusing on hot topics in the industry.

SOLIDS & RECYCLING-TECHINK Dortmund continues on course for success

On October 9 and 10, 2024, the Solids & Recycling-Technik Dortmund trade fairs will enter the next round. Back to its usual rhythm, the platform is becoming increasingly popular with exhibitors and 80 percent of the stand space has already been allocated. In addition to many established companies, the industry get-together is delighted to welcome numerous newcomers, including several Italian representatives from the sector. Attractive start-up conditions will make it easier for resourceful young companies to become exhibitors at the next event.

Trade shows inspire and show the innovative strength of the sectors

(Dortmund) Once again, the three trade shows SOLIDS, RECYCLING-TECHNIK and PUMPS & VALVES demonstrated at their two-day appearance in Dortmund how much potential there is in the industries. On the 29th and 30th of March, the 5,251 visitors were convinced by the innovative strength of the companies from the fields of process and recycling technologies. In addition to the exhibition, the audience was particularly enthusiastic about the top-class supporting programme and lectures. Topics such as plastic and building material recycling or digitalisation were the focus of the presentations. On the new Impuls Center stage, keynote speakers from outside the industry also allowed visitors to look beyond their own horizons.
