AMANDUS KAHL is a mechanical engineering company based in Reinbek, northern Germany. It is the leading sister company in the KAHL Group. For 150 years, the company has grown to become one of the most successful manufacturers of pellet mills worldwide, with around 500 employees. AMANDUS KAHL specializes in manufacturing pellet mills, pan grinder mills, crushing roller mills, expanders, extruders, dryers, and coolers. The company also focuses on developing and manufacturing fluidized bed plants that change the material properties of powdery and liquid substances. The result is granules, agglomerates, and coated or micro-encapsulated particles with improved application properties. Fluidized bed drying is one of the
most effective drying processes of all. Still, much more is possible in the expanded fluidized bed.
By injecting liquids, various innovative processes such as drying, agglomeration, spray granulation, micro-encapsulation, spray drying agglomeration coating or coating can be performed.
