Our flat-body and round-body valves will shut off powder and finely grained bulk materials up to a feed size of 20 mm. Wearing plates, sealing and supports are naturally exchangeable. The four-layer, all-round packing box stuffing guarantees a reliable dust seal to the outside. A special steel stripper protects the packing. If the system is operated at pressure above atmospheric and the actuation frequency > 20/h is high, kindly consult with us on the best solution. Our slide gates you can get pressure-shock-proof and ATEX-compliant, too.

Precise dosing system

Our Precise dosing system is suitable for powdery and finely grained bulk materials. Please specify the range of grain sizes when making your enquiry. The bulk material must have good conveying and flow properties. The agitator in the inlet area helps to ensure an almost constant filling level. Agglomerates that formed in the silo are broken up and crushed, thus increasing the process reliability even more. In addition, the spindle pitch is progressive, thus reducing the risk of the bulk material compacting inside the feed tube. The screw spiral and housing are precision-finished and therefore display maximum sealing integrity. The removable feed tube makes it easy to clean the screw. Outside bearings are as standard. Our distributors you can get pressure-shock-proof and ATEX-compliant, too.

Tangential rotary valves

Our tangential rotary valves are ideal for handling bulk materials with good conveying and flow properties up to a feed size of 35 mm, dependent on the size and the entire particle size range, in flooded feed condition. Blow-trough rotary valve

Discharge aid

The BARL – discharge aids are used for emptying silos and bunkers containing powdery, fine grained and granular bulk materials with different physical properties. The discharge aid loosens the bulk material and assists the mass flow. Bridges in the vicinity of the oscillation insert are destroyed. The outer cone is securely flanged onto the container. A shut-off organ and the following conveyor organ can be flanged onto the discharge flange directly and without any problem. The oscillation insert consists of the relief taper and the paddles that extend down as far as the outlet. The relief taper protects the outlet from the pressure of the bulk material. The point projecting upwards prevents the formation of bridges in the vicinity of the oscillation insert. The agglomerate crusher is naturally also available in both pressure-shock-proof and ATEX-compliant!

Double flap valve

BARL double-flap valves are usually installed underneath filters or cyclones as discharge elements or within ductings as air locks. The bulk material must be metered to the double-flap valve because it is not suitable for operation in flooded feed condition. When open, the entire inside diameter of the valve opening can be utilised without hindrance. The cleaning covers integrated as a standard feature ensure quick and easy cleaning. The double-flap valves are naturally also available in both pressure-shock-proofs!

Free flow valves

Barl free-flow flap are used as sealing flaps underneath bins or inside pipelines and ductwork. When open, the entire inside diameter of the valve opening can be utilised without hindrance. The free-flow valves are used for discharging powdery and fine-grained bulk materials with a great variety of physical properties. Free-flow flap valves are used for the complete and residue-free emptying of bins and containers. They operate with short opening and closing cycles. The free-flap valves are pressure-tight, standard design: < 0.5 bar and product-tight to the outside. In the design with flexible flap seal, heatproof to max. 200° C, the valves are pressure-tight and product-tight to 0.2 bar in the gate area. Adjustable stuffing boxes are as standard as the outside bearing. The cleaning covers integrated as a standard feature ensure quick and easy cleaning. A special design which is pressure surge resistant to the outside is also available.

Agglomerate crusher

The agglomerate crushers made by Barl Maschinenbau GmbH are usually equipped with exchangeable beaters. As a standard feature, the integrated cleaning covers ensure quick and easy cleaning. Dependent on the size of the unit, the maximum permissible feed size is between 50 and 100 mm. Again, dependent on the equipment and unit size, the end-product size ranges between 10 and 15 mm. The agglomerate crushers are suitable for agglomerates but not for hard and compacted rock-like structures. The bulk material must be metered to the agglomerate crusher because it is not suitable for operation in flooded feed condition. The coupling are as standard as the external bearing. The agglomerate crusher are naturally also available in both pressure-shock-proof!

Worm feeder

BARL screw conveyors are used for the continuous conveying, discharge and the volumetric metering of powdery, fine-grained and granular bulk materials with different physical properties. The screw conveyor is used for removing material under silos, bunkers, cyclones and filters, and for metered material discharge to grinders, scales, mixers and dryers. The standard version screw conveyors are used in pressureless conveyor systems. They are dust-tight to the outside. The screw conveyors can also be supplied in a special version for higher operating pressures or in pressure surge-resistant configurations. The cleaning covers integrated as a standard feature ensure quick and easy cleaning. Exchanging the seals and the flap is also possible through the cleaning opening. It is thus not necessary to undertake elaborate removal of the entire unit from the ducting. If the product is abrasive, we recommend the design with the exchangeable wear plates on the change-over flap and the adjustable wear plates in the side of the housing, both made of Naxtra or customer specifications.
