About us
Bechtel from Wuppertal is a supplier of spare parts and components for the bulk handling industry. We are your contact for parts in: elevators, chain conveyors, screw conveyor. We supply from our extensive stock conveyor chains, drop forged chains, sprockets, elevator belting, elevator buckets and much more with short delivery times. We also offer our customers quick delivery times for special solutions such as special materials or special designs. We have the possibility to design millimeter-precision special designs by means of 3D-supported software and present them accordingly to the customer.
We draw on a great experience and offer our customers practical solutions for every need. Together with the customer, we work out solutions for elevators, chain conveyors and screw conveyors.

Large Rollers for Conveyor Belts
Bechtel liefert unterschiedliche Arten an Rollen Für unterschiedliche Industrien und in um fangreiche Form, Ausführung und nach Kundenzeichnung. Hierbei kann der Kunde wählen, welche Werkstoffe eingesetzt werden und mögliche Lagerung. Alle Rollen können mit Abdichtungen ausgeführt werden mit verschiedene Achsen. Wir entwickeln gern mit den Kunden zusammen neue Lösungen und vom Prototyp bis zur Serienfertigung gern im gemeinschaftlichen Austausch . Hierzu setzen wir auf aktuelle Versionen von CAD - Systemen, um die Teile in 3D zu konstruieren und diese in der Anlage vorab einplanen zu können.
Elevator buckets
We deliver Elevatorbuckets pressed or welded in normal and stainless steel - also in different typs of Plastic.
Elevator Belting
Rubber elevator belts in accordance with DIN 22102 and DIN 22104 consist of inserts (polyester interwoven with nylon) as well as top layers with a thickness of 1 or 2 mm (possibly even 3 or 4 mm). The oil and fat resistant belts feature nitrile rubber top layers, a rubber with good resistance to mineral, vegetable, and animal oils and fats. Oil and fat resistant belts are temperature resistant up to a maximum of 110 ˚C. Belts with limited oil and fat resistance are used for products with a maximum oil or fat content of 4% and is temperature resistant up to 70 ˚C. In addition, there are special temperature resistant elevator belts that lend themselves for temperatures up to a maximum of 180 ˚C. Flame retardant belts in accordance with DIN 22103 are available on demand. Elevator belts 500/4, 630/4, 800/5 made of white rubber are also available and are suitable for the foods industry. Monoply PVC elevator belts are oil and fat resistant and are temperature resistant between -15˚C tot 80˚C. They are normally suitable for the foods industry. Color: white. Also available for the sugar industry.
Elevator Bolts
Elevator bucket bolts in accordance with DIN 15237 are hot pressed and available in M7, M8, M10, and M12, zinc plated or in stainless steel.
Conveyor Chain
The double drag link chain possesses inner and outer links according to DIN 8165 / 8167 or to customers wishes. Bechtel supplies different versions of both types and can deliver the optimum conveyor chain for any purpose. The chains may be equipped with plastic, welded, or bent scrapers (or a combination).
Drop Forged Chain
The drop forged chains supplied by Bechtel consists of forged steel links. These links may be equipped with all kinds of plastic or steel scrapers. The connection pins between these links are in a circlips version. The following table shows various different types of drop forged chains, together with the respective breaking loads.
Crew Conveyor Segments / endless spirals
Spiral conveyors may be used for horizontal, inclined as well as vertical conveyor purposes covering short distances. Bechtel supplies a series of components for these purposes, made of various different materials.
Sprockets for ConveyorChains
Sprockets are with or without teeth (return sprockets) and wear-resistant due to the hardening on the teeth. These sprockets have a symetrical hub and are divisible, making them easy to (dis) assemble. The following versions are available ex stock.
