Dosing devices / loss-in-weight feeders
A loss-in-weight feeder is a specialized measuring device used in industry to dose and weigh materials with high precision. This type of scale is commonly used in industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and other areas where accurate weight measurements are critical to production. The principle of the loss-in-weight feeder is based on the continuous weight measurement of the material to be dosed during the production process. In contrast to conventional scales, which measure a static weight, a loss-in-weight feeder is designed to measure and regulate the weight of a continuous flow of material. A key feature of the loss-in-weight feeder is its ability to take very accurate measurements. This is achieved by using high-precision sensors that can detect even the smallest changes in weight. This accuracy is particularly important in processes where compliance with precise recipes or formulations is required. Another important aspect of the loss-in-weight feeder is its ability to integrate into automated systems. Many of these scales can be connected to control systems that automatically adjust the material flow based on the measured weights. Control system for loss in weight feeder (DE-CONx)
The DE-CONx dosing control supports the operation of differential feeder when dosing bulk materials and powders using dosing screws, vibrating chutes, belts, etc. Thanks to the continuous performance determination and evaluation, automatic performance adjustment can be made at any time. Weighing electronics (DE-CONscale/DE-CONloadcell)
Weighing electronics for strain gauges and digital load cells The electronics of the DE-CONscale detects the measurement signal from up to 4 strain gauge load cells or digital load cells, generates highly accurate weight values by means of parameterizable hardware and software filters and is ideally suited for operation with almost any PLC system. Vibratory feeder
The DE-DDW-VF60 is a compact, high-quality dosing system for the precise gravimetric dosing of free-flowing bulk materials in the low to medium throughput range. The system combines a vibration-optimized discharge chute with a near-resonance, energy-efficient drive for consistent material flow during operation. Weight measurement is performed via a strain gauge load cell, enabling highly accurate and reproducible dosing. Thanks to its robust construction and industrial-grade materials, the VF60 is ideally suited for production environments with high demands on process stability, measurement accuracy, and easy integration into existing systems.
