Intelligent Flow Measurement for Better Transparency
With the latest generation of DYNAmflow throughput measurement, the focus shifts from the measured value itself to the intelligent analysis of material flow. The new MF-Config parameterization and analysis software with integrated AI calibration support is central to this. MF-Config visualizes process trends. The continuously recorded measurement curve enables detailed throughput analysis, even retrospectively. This allows for the early detection of irregularities, gradual process changes, or inefficient operating conditions. Recurring patterns and optimization potential suddenly become apparent. Furthermore, it enhances the documentation and traceability of process data. MF-Config also offers the innovative Auto-Calibrate function – a significant simplification of commissioning and a considerable reduction in commissioning time. At the touch of a button, the material flow is analyzed, and the perfect sensor settings for the specific process and material are automatically selected. With the new generation of DYNAmflow, measurement systematically becomes a data source for process understanding and optimization. This creates new opportunities for increasing efficiency, improving quality and proactive plant optimization — a clear step from pure measurement technology to data-driven process intelligence.

DYNAguard GM - Filter Monitor / broken bag detector for baghouses / de-dusting plants
• Electrostatic measurement principle (modified tribo principle) • Relay- or analogue output (4…20mA) • Signal damping adjustable • ATEX Zone 2/22 and Zone 20 • Sensor rod length up to 800 mm The dust monitor DYNAguard GM is used to detect malfunctions in dedusting plants, which can be caused by damaged or incorrectly installed filtration media. The used electrostatic measurement principle is based on a modified triboelectric principle. Not only particles which hit the measuring rod are detected, but also those passing by. Deposits on the sensor rod do not influence the measurement, since only moving particles are detected. Because signal damping is adjustable, short peaks do not cause a false alarm. The signal gain can be adjusted easily according to the individual process. With the analog output version (in connection with a PLC) it is possible to monitor more than one threshold and to plan filter maintenance by monitoring the cleaning cycles.

DYNAguard K - Flow switch for small pipeline diameters
• Integral measurement over the whole pipeline diameter • Easy installation between DIN- / ANSI - flanges up to 40 bar (570 lbs) • Relay- or analogue output (4…20mA) • ATEX Zone 2/22 and Zone 20 The flow switch DYNAguard K is used to monitor the flow of bulk solids in pipelines between DN10 to DN100 (0,5’’ to 4‘’), in pneumatic conveying systems or in free fall applications. The device covers a very wide range of throughput from a few grams to many tons per hour. With the analog output version (4… 20 mA), several thresholds can be monitored and a flow trend can be output if connected with a PLC. The instrument has also proven itself in harsh environments e.g. at blast furnaces in steelworks. For very abrasive products a wear protection inlet is available

DYNAguard V - Flow switch for large pipeline diameters and special applications
• Integral measurement over the whole pipeline diameter • Relay- or analogue output (4…20mA) • ATEX Zone 2/22 and Zone 20 In combination with a number of different process couplings, the DYNAguard V is the most variable flow switch and allows an easy integration into, the process — also in existing plants. Solutions for very diverse tasks in various industries from pharmaceutical,,chemical via building materials, animal feed and food industry to waste incineration plants have been realized. The flow switch can monitor high tonnages or a few milli grams, integrally over the whole pipe cross-section.

DYNAguard P - Flow switch with small detection area
• Installation also nearby moving components • Relay- or analogue output (4…20mA) • ATEX Zone 2/22 and Zone 20 The flow switch DYNAguard P is designed to monitor moving bulk material in pipelines such as in pneumatic conveying systems, free fall applications, chutes, angled pipelines or also as an empty indicator underneath silos and hoppers for a large throughput range from a few g/h to many t/h. The detection area is 15 cm in front of the sensor surface, so that it also can be used very close to moving components like flaps, rotary valves or slide valves. If the pipeline is made of non-conductive material, the device can be installed without opening the pipeline. Because of the special measurement principle also movements of plain sheets, boards or bars can be detected.

DYNAguard M - Flow switch with wide detection area
• Microwave measurement principle • Relay output The flow switch DYNAguard M detects moving bulk solids in open and closed conveying systems in which also larger distances to the conveyed material are possible. Solids which move through the detection area with a minimum velocity of 0,1 m/s are detected independently from the direction of movement. The DYNAguard M is installed at an angle of 45° to 90° of the flow direction. Moving mechanical components like rotary valves, flaps or the like should not be located in the detection area, because they could be interpreted as moving bulk solids. If such a »disturbance source« cannot be blinded out by signal damping or shielding, a DYNAguard using the electrostatic measurement principle, e.g. the DYNA guard P, will be a solution.

DYNAguard S - Flow switch for flexible hoses
• Integral measurement over the whole pipeline diameter • For conductive and non-conductive hoses • Relay- or analogue output (4…20mA) • ATEX Zone 2/22 When granulates, powders, blasting material, dust or other solids are transported in flexible hoses, clogging, an empty hopper or a product-bridge at the bottom of a storage tank can be detected immediately and securely by the DYNAguard S. The hose (outer diameter 4... 45 mm) is either fed through the sensor and fixed (version T), or it is cut and inserted into the hose fittings at the device (version E), or it is pushed on the pipe (version W). For conductive hoses the version E and W can be used.
DYNAchute - Flowmeter for mass flow rate measurement of bulk solids
HIGH-PRECISION MEASURING SYSTEM, 1% AND BETTER NO CALIBRATION, MAINTENANCE-FREE FROM 100kg/h -100t/h • No moving components • Independent from changing product properties and flow velocity • Gentle product flow, passive measurement principle • Minimum operating costs • Free product flow also if device is switched off • Easy to integrate The patented measuring system DYNAchute is a unique flow meter which combines proven weighing technology with contactless velocity-measurement. By measuring the weight and the flow velocity at the same time — similar to the belt-weigher principle — the mass flow rate of pourable bulk solids is determined in free fall processes with high accuracy. Compared to impact meter, changing product-properties (e.g. density, particle size, friction properties) or varying fall velocities (e.g. under silos) have no influence on the measuring accuracy of the system. Hence a complex calibration in the process especially with several products is not required. Also regular recalibration is not necessary while a very high reproducibility of the measuring results is granted. Operational cost can be reduced to an absolute minimum and regular maintenance is normally not required, because the flow meter does not have any moving components, the solids are flowing smoothly over the weighing chute and the sensor system is well protected.
DYNArad - Flowmeter for bulk solids (up to 500 t/h)
HIGHLY ACCURATE, ROBUST MEASURING SYSTEM INDEPENDENT FROM CHANGNG PRODUCT PROPOERTIES • No installation in the product flow • Independent from product properties and conveying conditions • Gentle contact-free measurement method • Low-wear • For high mass flow rates • Pressure resistant up to 64 bar To determine the mass flow in pneumatic conveyors and free-fall applications the measurement system DYNArad combines the measured values of a radiometric concentration measurement and a velocity measurement (DYNAvel). The simultaneous determination of these two factors makes this mass flow measurement independent from variable product properties (density, grain size, humidity, friction properties) or process conditions (pressure, velocity, temperature…). Once the system is calibrated in the process it is not necessary to recalibrate it since it guarantees a very good repeatability of the results. DYNArad operates contact-free and does not have any moving parts. In this way the possible wear is reduced to a minimum. For the concentration measurement we are using instruments of our long-term partner Berthold Technologies in Bad Wildbad.
DYNA M-flow - Flowmeter for bulk solids
• For pneumatic conveying and freefall processes • Easy installation and start up • Contact-less and integral measuring • Analogue output, pulse output, RS232, RS485 and threshold alarm relay Using state-of-the-art microwave technology the flowmeter DYNA M-flow is designed for flow measurement in metallic pipelines from a few kg/h to many t/h. The system is suitable for on-line measurement of powders, dust, pellets, and granulates. The measurement principle of the DYNA M-flow is based on the physical Doppler-Effect, whereas the sensor generates a uniform field in the microwave frequency range inside the pipeline. These microwaves are being reflected by particles passing through the pipe. Calculation of frequency and amplitude changes allows an accurate determination of the solid's mass flow rate. Nonmoving particles like dust accumulation are excluded from calculations.

DYNAmas - Continuous flow rate measurement of bulk solids
The DYNAmas flowmeter is used for continuous flow measurement of all kinds of bulk materials by applying the capacitive measuring principle. Accurate online flow measurement in free fall, as well as for pneumatic transport systems. Product concentration and transport speed are simultaneous and independently measured, and then used to calculate the mass flow rate. Thus, the measuring system is independent of fluctuating transport speeds. The device, available in different nominal diameters, is easy to calibrate and its reduced dimensions allow hassle-free integration into existing systems. In essence, DYNAmas contactless measuring is wear-free. The DYNAmas flowmeter has been designed to handle any bulk material flow, starting already with small volumes. Accordingly, the device proves suitable for many different applications. Configuration and measured values are displayed via the DYNAcon communication unit, which also provides various PLC interfaces. Give us a call. We can provide valuable advice on solid material flow measurement.
DYNAguard L - Level detection of bulk solids
• Reliable level detection • Contactless measurement • Minimum / maximum detection The DYNAguard L is a microwave barrier with separate transmitter and receiver unit. It is used for level detection of bulk material e.g. in silos, pipelines, chutes, containers, feeding- / receiving vessels and hoppers. Bulk material that is conveyed e.g. into a silo is piling up slowly between transmitter and receiver and attenuates the signal. This initiates a switching operation which indicates, that a certain level in the hopper is reached. The DYNAguard L can also measure through electrical insulators.

DYNAsize - Inline particle size measurement in real time
• Continuous process recording - Industry 4.0 • Detect screen damage, overflow, overload • Adjust & optimise screening and grinding processes • Continuous incoming goods inspection The DYNAsize is a measuring device for the continuous determination of the particle size of free-flowing bulk materials of all kinds. It is not necessary to take samples for this, because the measurement takes place directly in the process and in real time. If the adjustable limit values are exceeded or undershot, an alarm can be triggered via two relays. The grain size distribution is displayed using the DYNAsize Visual software and can also optionally be output via an RS485 interface. The bulk material falls through the sensor pipe for measurement. A representative partial flow is continuously fed to an optical measuring system and measured. The optics are protected by scratch-resistant borosilicate glass and contamination is prevented by purge air. The DYNAsize is unique in its kind and was developed in cooperation with CeMOS respectively the Hochschule Mannheim - University of Applied Sciences.

DYNAvel - Determination of solids velocity
• Non-contact measurement • Maintenance-free technology • No calibration required • Automatic adaptation allows wide product dynamic The DYNAvel measuring system is a reliable solution to precisely determine the actual solids velocity in pneumatic conveying systems and free fall applications. The measurement system consists out of the sensor, the measurement electronics and the communication unit DYNAcon. A digital connecting cable with a maximum length of 1000 metres offers a high degree of noise resistance and very little wiring effort, when several measuring points have to be installed, because it allows up to ten systems to be connected on one line. Instead of using the communication unit, adjustments and back-up of parameters can very comfortably also be made with the software DYNA Pro Visual using a laptop computer. In that case the velocity signal can also be output directly from the sensor.

DYNAairguard
• Continuous dust measurement of the ambient air • Recognise dust formation immediately • Monitor dust concentration at workplaces • Prevent dust explosions • Very quiet in operation - 29 dB(A) The DYNAairguard is a measuring instrument for monitoring the concentration of dust in the ambient air. The device is used e.g. in industrial production halls and detects if there are leaks in machines or conveying pipelines and dust escapes. The use of the DYNAairguard effectively protects the health of employees. In the case of explosive dusts, the danger of dust explosions is detected and intervention is possible.

DYNAguard D Eco - Filter Leak Monitor / Dust Monitor
• Triboelectric measurement principle • Automatic one-button calibration • 2 x Relay output • ATEX Zone 20/21 • Sensor rod length 250/500 mm or customized The DYNA guard D Eco is a reliable, robust filter monitor with practical one-button operation and two relays for pre-alarm and main alarm. The dust sensors of the DYNA guard series are used to de tect filter malfunctions caused by cracks or assembly errors, for example. They are particularly important in the case of heavily contaminated air, air recirculation into the building, strict emission limits or to prevent product loss when the dust is not waste but a valuable product. The devices are therefore not only used downstream of dust extraction systems but also on the exhaust air side of cyclone separators for continuous monitoring of the dust concentration.

DYNAmoist (Humy) - In-Line Moisture Measurement
• Real-time measurement of product moisture • No laboratory samples necessary • High-precision measurement results • Easy integration • Robust design • Intuitive parameterisation software The DYNAmoist uses a capacitive measuring method that determines the entire water content of a material — not just at its surface. To do this, the sensor's field lines penetrate up to 200 mm deep into the material. The measurement result has an accuracy of up to 0.1 % — depending on the bulk material and measurement situation.
