BULK SOLIDS:
Applications in the bulk solids sector make high demands to the components which are mounted in the plant. On the one hand for sensitive fluids like milk powder or tea leaves the gentle product handling is of paramount importance. On the other hand high abrasive fluids like quartz sand or porcelain slurry make the highest demands to the abrasion resistance of the used materials.
For almost all applications EBRO offers a broad range of valves and actuators which are laid up unconditionally for the particular application. ViDos ▪ Vibrating-/ Dosing Valve
ViDos - This solution is based on the established valve series Z 600. Body, disc and liner are standard elements of the EBRO Product Program. A vibrator mounted on the lower shaft makes this valve special, as it causes a linear vibration which swings the disc horizontally. The frequency of this vibration is controlled via air pressure. Application: Reduction of crustification and adherence When used as a shutt-off valve, the vibration function helps to reduce the crustification of particles within the product. This leads to significant extension of the Cleaning- and Service periods. When the valve remains in the closed position for a long time, adherence of the conveyed product is a consequence. Disc and liner are subjected to high frictional forces when opening the valve.If the vibrator is switched on before opening, crustification of the product will be dispensed. Fine Discharging / Dosing When equipped with a positioner, different positions for fine and rough dosing are possible. Having reached the dosing position, the vibrator will be set into operation, thus keeping the product in motion. So the “Bridging effect“ is prevented. The product can be conveyed very sensitively even with minor opening angles.
Inflatable Seat INFLAS
The sealing system was developed for highly abrasive or very sensitive media. Available for all resilient seated butterfly valves with interchangeable seat. In closed position, the liner will be pressed against the disc using low air pressure.The media is sealed off securely. Before opening the disc, the chamber is vented behind the liner. This creates an air gap between the liner and the disc, hence low torque is required to open the valve. ADVANTAGES Extremely low wear of parts even in contact with abrasive media. Low sized actuators due to reduced torques. Low grinding/-clamping of sensitive media between disc and liner.
Cycle Look TS
EBRO cycle-locks are installed where powdered media is discharged from silos, receiver tanks and bigbags and dosed in many cases. They are also used for feeding into downstream production processes, as well as for inertisation of products during transfer operations. The cycle-lock TS is available in nominal diameter DN 50 - DN 600. The geometry of the filling pipe depends on the specific properties of the products to be passed through the valve. The chamber volume can be adapted individually. The communication is based on conventional signaling equipment and can be integrated to existing control systems without any problems.
Impeller Valve FSM
Impeller valve for shut-off and control of product streams in the bulk industry. The impeller valve series FS is designed for a safe and consistent discharge of rapid flowing products in the bulk industry. They ensure a noticeable reduction of demixing during discharge and guarantee no compaction or levigation of products during charge and discharge. This valve is suitable for a measured control and dosing of product streams.
