JACOB Horizontal Cyclone
The patented horizontal cyclone from JACOB fits in almost every pipe system. Its design makes it easy to integrate with straight pipes. This makes it the first choice when retrofitting a cyclone. But it also proves its worth in new pipework systems, where it reliably cleans the airflow of particles and sparks. These horizontal cyclones belong to the JACOB modular pipework system. Would you want someone to attack your pipe with a hammer just because it is too long? We certainly do not want that. Neither for our pipes nor for any others, because pipes are far too sensitive for this. Cutting the pipes to length with an angle grinder and flanging them using files, hammers or heavy machinery would also take far too long. But what do you do if you need to cut pipes to the right length on the construction site? With the JacBox at your disposal, you now have a professional mobile solution that allows you to quickly and easily produce lip edges on-site, and to JACOB's usual high quality standard. INTERESTED? With this expansion of our standardised product portfolio, we offer 500 additional high-performance solutions in our range of throttle valves and 2-way distributors. Our new E-Drive series impresses with fast changeover times, high drive power and tool-free setup – maximum flexibility with minimal effort.
The multi-way distributor for optimal transport
When it comes to handling foods, care is key. JACOB’s FOOD GRADE range sets new benchmarks to optimise your production processes. For example, with its multi-way distributor designed specifically for hygiene-sensitive products, such as powdered milk. As a result, each of its components coming into contact with the product complies with FDA regulations as well as EC 1935/2004, reliably transporting your product to its destination. The system features an extremely high degree of flexibility and can be customised to suit your exact needs. A wide variety of measurement and sensor options are also available for integration. The proven pull-ring system is now available in a 160mm-diameter. Most importantly of all, pipe systems with the nominal diameter commonly used in ventilation systems now benefi t from short installation times and a perfect seal. In the standard range, you can also choose from popular connecting fl anges and cone pieces. In this way, you can connect your machines conveniently and safely with the JACOB modular pipework system.

DETECTABLE DESIGN: Seals with built-in-safety
The new JACOB DETECTABLE DESIGN line provides increased safety, for example in food production. All products in the DETECTABLE DESIGN line can be detected with customary metal detectors and comply with EC1935/2004 regulations, as well as FDA standards. Should they or even just parts of them accidentally find their way into your production process, for example during assembly, they can immediately be located by a metal detector and removed. Miniscule metallic particles render non-metal elements such as seals, rubber covers and compensators detectable. Look for the DETECTABLE DESIGN sign.
Tough performers - Durable Design, the new wear protection
JACOB’s new wear protection range extends the service life and in addition the cost-effectiveness of your industrial plants. Various polyurethane linings make the inside of the pipes resistant to hard and abrasive matter. Since they are bonded or screw-fixed in standard pipe components, they still offer all the flexibility of the JACOB modular system.
Less noise, optimised safety thanks to silencers
In pipework systems, noticeable noise cannot be avoided. To be able to teach your production systems to whisper, we offer silencers with JACOB-compatible elements. They are available as inline silencers and in a rectangular design. The sound-absorbing material applied on the inside consists of non-inflammable mineral wool with glass non-woven covering. The insulating layer of the sound-absorbing inserts is 50 to 100 millimetres thick, including trickle protection. We would be happy to implement individual customer requests, such as flow profiles at the ends of silencers or pull ring or flange connections. On request, we support you in selecting the right design variant and in correctly dimensioning your acoustic insulation. As a component of the JACOB modular pipework system, the silencers are easy to disassemble and assemble for cleaning or to replace the mineral wool.
Reliable Particle Separation with Cyclones
During industrial processes, it is often necessary to remove particles from the air or gas flow. This is done when raw materials are recovered, but also when the air flow is cleaned. The JACOB portfolio includes cyclones for this purpose in its standard range. These set the air flow in motion and rotate it. Particles are separated in the process using centrifugal force. Since cyclones are passive components, their effectiveness depends on numerous factors such as the performance of the fan. Our experts would be pleased to help you with their experience and assist you with selecting the right cyclone. Our standard range of JACOB cyclones is available in diameters ranging from 250-1000 mm with lipped connections, and cyclones with diameters from 1120-2500 mm with welded-on flanges. If our standard range does not have the right size for a special challenge that you have, JACOB will manufacture cyclones to your specification.

JACOB is no.1 for modular pipework systems. Conveying pipe systems for bulk goods handling and dust extraction as well as ventilation plants for environmental change to applications are the all within the large scope for JACOB pipe systems (Ø 60-1600 mm or alternative specifications as a special requirement, wall-thicknesses from 1 mm up to 3 mm, material: powder coated, hot-dip galvanised as well as stainless steel). JACOB and BFM®: The Perfect Fit
It is often necessary in pipe systems to absorb vibrations and oscillations, and to decouple individual parts of a system from one another. To achieve optimum results, JACOB and BFM® have combined their systems into one product: The BFM® spigot is now available through JACOB with a 6 mm lip for pull-ring connection so that the unique BFM® flexible connection can be installed easily into a modular pipework system in seconds. It is formed from two spigots and a connector made from exceptionally resilient polyurethane. The innovative snap-in design allows the connector to click into the double beading of a matching spigot by means of an internal metal ring. No tools or welding are needed for installation. The BFM® system also meets FDA and EC 1935/2004 requirements, just like the JACOB Food Grade range. This means that these products are suitable for use in industries that demand the highest standards, such as foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals. The compensators can be used in ATEX environments under certain conditions. Magnetic Separator – The Clever Safety Solution
The JACOB magnetic separator extracts ferrous contaminants quickly and easily from free-flowing bulk materials and exhaust air with low conveying pressure. It can be applied in any industry where ferrous metal needs to be separated from the product flow. One such application is when downstream machinery needs to be protected, for example in plant engineering or in the plastics industry. Another application is the safe production of food products such as flour or sugar. CLEVER DESIGN • Strong magnets – up to nine neodymium tubes separate even the smallest ferrous particles from bulk and exhaust air. Max. magnetic induction (G) – on the surface of the tube (+ / -10 %): 10,000 Gauss. • Compact and robust – consisting of multiple magnetic tubes that are protected by a stainless-steel cover, a T-piece and a pull-ring connection with a detectable design seal. • Easy to clean – pull the separator from the pipework system, remove the magnets from the cover, and all ferrous pieces and particles will simply fall off the cover surface. • Increased food safety – combine the magnetic separator with sealings from the JACOB DETECTABLE DESIGN line.
