About us
GEBR. RUBERG is a globally active company with a share of exports of approx. 60%. RUBERG machines are being operated on all continents of the world in more than 90 countries. Manufacturing is done using latest producing machinery, complying with all food and hygiene regulations, simultaneously realizing high process reliability.
Powerful cereal cleaning machines and mixing technology of the latest generation – planned and developed together with our customers, built at GEBR. RUBERG´s and after having passed pilot application successfully delivered to all countries in the world. Our customers work both nationally and internationally – in the food sector, chemical industry, in pharmaceuticals, agricultural economy as well as in building materials, plastics and animal feed.
Practical mixing, cleaning and separating trials are carried out in the GEBR. RUBERG technology center as well as with mobile testing machines which we are prepared to provide for your developing processes on site.
The GEBR. RUBERG technology center and attached laboratory is the connecting link Between product development and large scale production. There production processes are being optimized , and elaborated process parameters are being used for planning and developing customer plants.
From the very beginning mixing machines have been part of the manufacturing program of GEBR. RUBERG. Heavy duty vertical mixing systems made by GEBR. RUBERG are amongst the dominant innovations in the field of mixing technology. They are used wherever gentle mixing with highest possible mixing precision and short cycle times are required. At present our manufacturing program in the area mixing technology comprises seven series in vertical design and one in horizontal design. Vertical mixers are our precision batch mixer, reactor batch mixer, barrel batch mixer, container batch mixer, laboratory batch mixer, conical ribbon mixer and mixing silos. As horizontal mixer we produce the continuous throughfeed mixer.
Currently the manufacturing program of the cereal cleaning machines consists of two lines of machines. The GEBR. RUBERG aspirators of series RV and RVS as well as the GEBR. RUBERG universal precleaners of series RUV. Cereal cleaning machines are used for cleaning, fractioning and sorting all kinds of common types of cereals.
GEBR. RUBERG was founded around 1848 in Nieheim. Mr Alhard Ruberg, as managing director and firm owner in the 5th generation, considers as his prior-ranking function to lead the company GEBR. RUBERG into the next generation.

RUBERG Laboratory Batch Mixer
RUBERG-Laboratory Batch Mixer LCM series: Product development micro batches Operating method: Quantities of products are collected in commercially approved barrels and docked to the mixing chamber. The complete unit is swivelled into the working position and the process started. Variable rotational speeds circulate large volumes of the product components in a gentle mixing action. Simultaneously material is horizontally distributed by the mixing arms. Within a short period of time the optimum mixing quality is achieved and the unit can be swivelled back into base position. The homogenized product is emptied completely into the container which is then undocked and transferred to the further processing. have various applications for laboratories or small production quantities, including development of recipes and product development of pure dry mixes, addition of liquids into dry materials and pure liquid mixes. Also possible is a gentle product treatment for homogenization of sensitive material through to breaking down of agglomerates by using a cutting rotor. Further options of processing are heating and vacuum mixing. Reproducible trial and comparison mixes are parts of product development and quality assurance which can not be neglected. RUBERG Container Batch Mixers
RUBERG-Container Batch Mixers MULTI-PURPOSE Handling and Excellent Mixing Qualities We have taken up customer requirements for reduced plant engineering with simple logistics for the handling of existing containers, and have this developed the CCM-U and CCM-O series of the RUBERG Container Batch Mixer. Operating Method: The products are commissioned in containers or that are usual in trade in special containers of up to approx 2000 litres (GMP-conforming). The containers are integrated into the mixing process by docking to the slewable mixing chamber. A distinction is made between containers that are joined to the chamber from above (CCM-O) and containers that are joined from below (CCM-U). The mixing principle in all its variations is the same as that of the RUBERG Precision Batch Mixers. Design Variants: Containers with inlet or discharge cones and containers that can be completely opened at the top are suited for operation with the CCM-U series. The whole unit, with the container linked up at the underside, swivels into the working position and the product is completely discharged into the mixing chamber. The closed system prevents any emission of the product. Aspiration and filter systems can be dispensed with. The slow-running mixer, with gentle action on the product, in a very short time produces a completely homogenous mix. After that the unit returns to its initial position. The turning mixing tool supports the complete emptying of the product which is re-fed into the container. The container is then uncoupled and released for further use. RUBERG Precision Batch Mixer
Ruberg Precision Batch Mixer Homogenizing, coating, moistening, crystallizing, to feed gas and to degas, foaming, vaporizing, fluidizing, and drying - these are examples of operations which are to be carried out by the RUBERG precision batch mixer regarding the different products to be mixed. In these fields the mixer can be used efficiently and flexibly. RUBERG Blending Silos
RMS series: Blending system with multi-purpose possibilities ... Sizes: As a blending silo with a capacity from 100 litres to 20.000 litres or as a large-capacity blending silo with a capacity of up to 100 m3. In a position suitable for inside or outside assembly. Low operating costs thanks to low required power, low-maintenance and wear. Product-friendly homogenizing, drying, cooling and dyeing can for example be carried out in one working cycle. Working Method: Depending on its characteristics the product to be blended is fed either on top or at the side. It is also possible to feed it directly into the blending screw which is in the lower part. The blending screw consists of a sturdy central tube with welded anger-type helixes. The conical diameter and the progressive ascending slope are the decisive characteristics of the blending tools. They are chosen according to the silo diameter. Thanks to the special geometry of the open, slow turning blending anger the product can slowly flow from all horizontal levels of the silo towards the centre, where it is fed upwards with a slowly increasing feeding speed. Horizontal and vertical currents blend the whole silo contents perfectly within a short time. The RUBERG-Blending Silo is equipped with an insulated double casing, so thermal blending tasks can be carried out.
