Our Company since 1.000 Years
GREIF-VELOX is one of the oldest companies in the world. We build on 1,000 years of history. Monks founded the Greifen-Mühle (Greifen Mill) in 1100, laying what later turned out to be the first stones for centuries of practical experience in efficient bagging, filling, and palletising. More than a century ago, these experiences have been bundled into the GREIF-Werke, which designed and realised innovative palletiser robots, bagging machines, and filling lines.
This company then developed into GREIF-VELOX, with more than 150 experts that every day maintain the culture of innovations that developed over 1,000 years. They constantly set new industry benchmarks.
We know from our 1,000 years of experience that customers need something other than standard solutions “off the shelf”, but rather customised concepts and developments. Tailor-made solutions do more than just improve production quality and quantity, they offer strong competitive advantages that pay off after only a short period!

Packaging as a Service (PaaS) is a comprehensive service model that goes beyond the mere provision of packaging machines. GREIF-VELOX not only supplies the machines, but also takes over the entire packaging infrastructure as a full-service partner - from the provision and maintenance of the machines to the supply of consumables and continuous process optimisation. With PaaS, you benefit from a fully integrated packaging process - customised to your specific production requirements and without high initial investments (CAPEX). The running costs are covered by predictable monthly instalments that offer you maximum cost transparency and flexibility. From machine purchase to integrated solution While existing Packaging-as-a-Service models are usually limited to simple packaging solutions with cardboard boxes or reusable containers, GREIF-VELOX goes one step further: the model comprises complex bagging systems for ultra-light powders - including all relevant components. Customers receive a well thought-out complete package at a fixed monthly price. With the GREIF-VELOX PaaS model, the entire packaging process is transferred to an end-to-end model. Tasks that would otherwise be distributed among various service providers - from financing and maintenance to material procurement - are bundled and coordinated centrally.
