HEKO UR400 - The New Chain Quality
The new HEKO UR400 quality specifically leverages the effect of stress-induced structural transformation. In operation, the already case-hardened material undergoes additional hardening precisely in the areas subjected to the highest loads. This creates an innovative microstructure with an optimal combination of hardness, toughness, and fatigue strength. The result is a round steel chain with maximum fracture toughness and wear resistance. HEKO UR400 offers you: Increased Operational Fatigue Strength – The ductile edge layer allows higher breaking strength despite the increased case-hardening depth, sustainably improving fatigue performance. Enhanced Wear Protection – Targeted in-service hardening in the highly stressed zones of the chain links provides significantly improved wear resistance. Using state-of-the-art machining centers and automatic lathes, HEKO ensures maximum precision in the mechanical processing of sprockets, chain rollers, track rollers, and shafts.

HEKO chain locks
Connecting links of types HF/HR and HV are used for the secure assembly of extended chain strands. Their mechanical properties and dimensions are fully equivalent to those of the corresponding chains. Each connecting link consists of a few accurately machined components, allowing for quick and straightforward installation. The connecting link must be installed in a vertical position only.
HEKO chain shackles
HEKO chain shackles are exactly matched to the selected chain execution. This applies to the material quality and hardening depth. For high wear requirements, it is possible to choose between several inductive or case hardened chain executions.
