Drums and Buckets

Handling drums and buckets is demanding. Our customised lifters ensure safe transport and filling, improving workflow and well-being. If you handle granulates, fluids, and bulk materials, you often move them in drums or buckets and fill them into containers. The materials’ versatility makes them essential but challenging to handle safely. Hovmand offers customised solutions for lifting heavy drums and buckets, improving efficiency, staff well-being, and workflow. Grab, lift and rotate drums: Drums vary in size, weight, and material, making them difficult to lift and empty manually. Hovmand’s drum lifters: - Securely grip, lift, and rotate drums of all materials and diameters. - Offer controlled tilting at varying speeds for precise pouring. - Provide customised grippers for a firm hold, regardless of weight. - Feature adaptable lifting columns and chassis to suit different needs. Buckets are widely used in production but can be challenging to safely lift, tilt, and empty. Hovmand’s lifters: - Handle all bucket sizes, designs, and weights with ease. - Lift and position smaller buckets securely using a platform. - Move and tilt buckets with handles using a crane arm and adjustable slings. - Ensure safe pouring into tubs, pots, or high-positioned funnels. Lifting and emptying heavy jerrycans can strain employees and lead to unsafe working positions. Hovmand’s solutions: - Enable safe carrying, transport and precise pouring of jerrycans. - Reduce physical strain with specialised lifting equipment. - Support different jerrycan sizes from 15-25 litres and beyond. - Offer two models: the cost-effective GO Jerrycan or the Impact series solution.

Reel handling

Reels come in many sizes, weights, and materials, making handling complex. Our lifting solutions ensure safe, efficient transport and tilting, reducing strain on employees. Many materials come in the form of reels, varying in size, weight, thickness, and fragility. They come in different types, from foil and packaging to paper manuals and print. Handling reels is complex, requiring specialised equipment for lifting, moving, and tilting. To ensure safety and reduce physical strain, we offer a range of solutions - from simple tools to advanced automated systems. Lifting and rotating reels from pallets to machines can be challenging and physically demanding. Hovmand’s Reel Manipulator: - Grips reels securely by the core for safe handling. - Rotates reels from vertical to horizontal for easy mounting. - Allows side-to-side movement for effortless lifting from pallets. - Comes in three versions: one mechanical (up to 80 kg) and two electrical (up to 200 kg). If you work with reels, you often need to mount and handle them at different heights in multiple ways. Hovmand’s Boom solutions: - “Boom – V-block” supports both fixed and loose boom mounting. - Single and double booms offer simple and effective reel lifting. - Adjustable booms allow width customisation for various reel sizes. When gripping the core isn’t possible, you must lift the reels from the outside. Hovmand’s Grip and Turn tools: - Securely grip the reel’s exterior for safe lifting and positioning. - Rotate reels effortlessly for correct mounting. - Support various sizes with lifting capacities up to 250 kg. -Offer custom grippers to ensure a firm hold without damage.
