KVT GmbH
About us
KVT GmbH, based in Kirchzarten in the Black Forest, is an innovative manufacturer of high-quality valves and components for the bulk solids sector.
Our product range includes valves for drinking water, tap water, wastewater, and industrial water, as well as for the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
We develop and manufacture pneumatically operated pinch valves, pipe diverters, and pipe pressure transmitters in nominal sizes DN6-DN800. Our products are available with connections according to DIN 11851, DIN 11853/11864, DIN 32676, flanges according to EN 11851, and pipe threads according to ISO 228.
On request, we also supply special designs according to customer-specific requirements.
With 60 years of experience in valve technology, KVT stands for reliability, quality, and customer focus. Thanks to modern manufacturing processes, our own design department, and continuous innovation, we offer our customers tailor-made solutions from single-item production to series production.
Our customers value us as a flexible partner for technically demanding projects—from bulk material processing and water treatment systems to complex industrial plants.
Sustainability, durability, and easy maintenance are always at the forefront of our product development.

KVT Pinch valve with pipe ends of electrically conductive polyethylene (PE) for an ATEX zone
A valve was required for a pipeline filled with hydrochloric acid. Further requirements were that the pipeline fitting can be installed in the ATEX zone, that the fitting has pipe ends made of electrically conductive polyethylene (PE-1000 ELS) so that it can be welded to a welding neck flange made of PE. The pinch sleeve was also designed to be electrically conductive on the inside.

Pinch valve with control head
Accessories for pinch valves: KVT pinch valves are generally operated with oil- and water-free compressed air. As a rule of thumb, the closing pressure should be approximately 2 bar higher than the medium pressure in the pipeline. Therefore, please install a maintenance unit with oil removal, a strainer, and drainage, as well as a pressure reducer, upstream of the electromagnetically or manually operated valves that control the pinch valve. Position indicators: Position indicators (electrical/optical) can be used to check and provide feedback on the closed position. Do you need help with the wiring of pinch valves? Do you need the control circuit for operating pinch valves? Do you need pneumatic components for the switching? We are happy to help!

AS54 Non-return valves
The cone diaphragm check valves from Lasso Technik AG are FDA-compliant, designed for up to 16 bar and suitable for cold and hot water. They can also be used for oily liquids, gaseous, pasty or sandy media as well as acids and bases. A backflow preventer not only protects the drinking water system in the house, but also the supply network outside, as the drinking water in the house could potentially be contaminated. In the event of damage, it prevents contaminated water from entering the supply network and endangering other water consumers. A special feature of the diaphragm non-return valves is the silent and gentle closing of the diaphragm. Water hammer effects are greatly reduced, thus protecting the system. The diaphragm guarantees secure closure and seals reliably even with granular or contaminated media. In addition, the valve cones act as coarse filters to protect pumps and systems. As the conical diaphragm valves have no mechanically moving parts that could wear out, they offer a long service life. The valves consist of a valve cone made of stainless steel 1.4404 and a soft rubber diaphragm. They can be installed either vertically or horizontally. As standard, the valves come with an EPDM diaphragm that is approved for drinking water.

SL13 Backwater valves
Our backflow protection offers maximum protection for your building - whether for rainwater or wastewater containing faecal matter (faecal water) Automatic opening: A natural pressure is exerted on the membrane of the backflow preventer by a build-up of water until the pipe is approximately full, which then opens upwards and allows the water to drain away. Secure closure: When the water flow stops, the sealing lip closes again and closes the valve. The valve is always closed in its basic position. Maximum protection against backflow: If a backflow occurs from the sewer, the rubber membrane fills due to the back pressure and is pressed firmly against the pipe wall. This effectively prevents water from entering the building. Additional benefit - Stops unpleasant sewer gases/radon: A major advantage of this design is the odor barrier. As the membrane closes tightly when not in use, gas movement from the sewer system is made impossible. This directly helps to prevent harmful or foul-smelling sewer gases or radon from escaping into the cellar or living spaces.

Plastic diaphragm seal with clamp
Pressure switches/transmitters made of stainless steel are used, for example, for the central filling of wine presses and for product lines containing viscous media or bulk materials whose pressure needs to be monitored. We manufacture these pressure transmitters in two designs: based on a pinch valve with a flat diaphragm. In both cases, the control chamber between the diaphragm/pinch sleeve is filled with a pressure transmitter medium so that the pressure is transferred from the diaphragm/pinch sleeve to the pressure gauge or pressure switch. This prevents the formation of hard-to-clean dead spaces and simultaneously prevents contamination of the actual measuring instrument.
