Drying of bulk materials, chips and grinding sludge – without thermal energy = centrifuges from Lanner
The German company Lanner Anlagenbau GmbH, founded more than 35 years ago, has a leading position in the world market in the field of bulk material, chip and grinding sludge processing because of its quality, competence and reliability. Besides others the product range of Lanner includes these centrifuges for the separation of the above mentioned: • Batch centrifuge • Lifting bottom centrifuge Batch centrifuges are suitable for the manual and half-automatic de-oiling or drying of bulk materials, chips and grinding sludge. They can also clean and coat parts. Batch centrifuges are constructed for a long lasting continuous operation. The electro-magnetic lid locking, the unbalance detection switch and the standstill control provide maximum operational safety. Optional accessories are available: Adjustable drum speed, crane support with pivot arm or an electric chain host, heating, tank, transport cart for the drum or customized carrier e. g. for boxes or workpieces. Even customized models in stainless steel, EX protection or fully automated machines are available on request. The lifting bottom centrifuge from Lanner is the best choice concerning regaining maximum coolant and processing reliability. It is equipped with a lifting bottom which moves in cycles and is also suitable for very fine materials like grinding sludge because of the self-cleaning principle. The lifting bottom centrifuge offers the best possible de-oiling in the universal operation. Low maintenance costs, high reliability and best availability stand for these types of centrifuges. Processing systems for bulk materials, chips and grinding sludge: From the compact system up to the complete processing system
Lanner Anlagenbau GmbH is a worldwide leader in chip processing systems for the last 35 years. At the moment Lanner is the only full service provider offering patented solutions for an efficient separation of liquids and solids without thermal treatment. The systems are suitable for different types of bulk materials, chips and grinding sludge. A team of highly qualified staff provides all performances from one source: Consultancy, construction, planning, production, assembly and after sales service. An efficient service team assembles your system from Lanner at site. With an additionally concluded service contract Lanner assures an annual certified inspection by a technician. Vetamat The patented Vetamat system separates the bulk materials, metal chips and / or grinding sludge reliably from the liquid. The Vetamat systems can reach a throughput of up to 2 m³/h. Vetamat systems include a parabolic or lifting bottom centrifuge, a conveyor with tank as well as an oil tub according to the Water Resources Act and a control cabinet. Because of the add-on system the Vetamat system can optionally be expanded by a chip cart dumper, chip crusher, tramp metal ejector or coolant treatment. Obviously the product range of Lanner also includes complete systems which can be made according to your needs. The capacity of these systems is up to 10 m³/h. As Lanner is a full service provider in case of metal chips and grinding sludge processing all components match perfectly. Naturally Lanner is up to date – two years ago we already installed the first complete system according to industry 4.0. This system processes 45.000 kg steel chips without man power every day. Chip crushers from Lanner - Made for very hard cases
Long and woolly chips result from many treatment processes, often have a big volume, are not easy to transport, are hard to process and cause difficulties in the logistics. The best solution for these issues are chip crushers from Lanner: The volume of the coolant containing or dry long and woolly chips can be reduced up to 80 % by crushing them. A chip conveyor or chip cart dumper puts the chips into the infeed hopper. Of course, the crusher can also be placed directly under the tooling machine. Because of the force of gravity the chips are pulled downwards by the knife arms to the tearing block in the vertical working chip crusher – in this section the pre-crushing happens. A rotating knife head with hardened crushing tools moves the long and woolly chips to the tearing blocks which are mounted fixed in the grinding hopper. Afterwards the pre-crushed chips fall into the crushing mill where they are crushed again to a minimum size. These chip crushers also minimize really tough chips. The biggest advantage of these chip crushers is the integrated tramp metal ejector. Here mistakenly initiated tramp metals are sorted out. This feature is also included in the smallest machine! The chip crusher can be expanded by a hydraulic drive, special material for life extension or an inspection cover in the hopper. For special customer requests e. g. different types of material Lanner can offer different types of grinding mills to optimize the volume reduction. Another advantage is that wear parts can be re-grinded easily with standard tools. Changing of wear parts is possible within very short time. Thanks to the robust construction chip crushers from Lanner are working around the clock for decades. The vertically working chip crusher needs very few energy in comparison to single or various draft shredders.

Briquetting presses from Lanner - The perfect logistic solution for your metal chips
As an international market leader, producer and supplier of complete processing systems for chips and grinding sludge Lanner Anlagenbau GmbH contributes significantly to a considerate and economic treatment of raw materials. This German company is specialized in single components and systems for chip and grinding sludge processing. In this process there are not only regained clean and dry chips but also the coolant which can be reused. Besides several centrifuges, chip crushers and complete systems Lanner Anlagenbau GmbH also offers briquetting presses. In the following article you find a short functional description: The chips containing coolant or grinding sludge is put into the infeed hopper of the briquetting press. A dosing screw transports the material in defined quantity into the pressing chamber. Laser probes monitor the dosage. A specialized high pressure cylinder (with pressing capacity of up to 500 bar) compresses the chips or the sludge to a dimensionally stable briquette. The briquette has a very high density and low residual moisture. While the chips are compacted the coolant is pressed out and can be reused in the further process circle. A tank under the briquetting press catches the separated coolant. It is equipped with a discharge pump and a probe according to WRA (water resources authority). The whole briquetting press stands on a tub which is also made according to WRA. This briquetting press includes a control cabinet which is also made by Lanner. Optionally our briquetting press can be expanded by a chip crusher with tramp metal ejector. With this option also long and woolly chips can be treated. To get an even better result concerning the residual moisture it is also possible to centrifuge the chips or grinding sludge before briquetting. With centrifuges from Lanner a residual moisture of less than 1 % is possible. A briquetting press can be connected to a complete chip processing system with e. g. chip crusher, screener and centrifuge.
