Pipe bends and pipe couplings in large radii and diameters
Large-diameter stainless steel pipe bends from Michel Tube are bent in-house using state-of-the-art CNC mandrel bending machines. All pipe bends exhibit minimal ovality, and the pipe ends are calibrated for quick and easy connection with a pipe connector or coupling. Most Michel Tube stainless steel pipe bends are available from stock and are delivered cleaned and packaged ready for installation. On average, we maintain over 100,000 pipe bends in stock at any given time. Pipe couplings are frequently used in pressure conveying applications. Michel Tube pipe couplings are available in various materials, with galvanized steel being the most common. Standard lengths range from 150 mm to 200 mm. Clamping is achieved using three or four screws. Similar to pipe connectors, a flat gasket provides the seal. It is important to understand that pipe couplings only provide a sealing function for the pipe and cannot withstand pressure surges. We strongly recommend using strain relief for this.

ModuSilo - stainless steel container
With its new ModuSilo modular system for material containers, Michel Tube presents a simple, configurable system for material storage. The ModuSilo impresses with its high-quality construction and meticulous workmanship. "The focus is on a high-quality system that can also be customized later for demanding customers and requirements, available in a rectangular design with capacities ranging from 125 L to 1000 L," says Managing Director Patrick Michel. One highlight is an optional colored fill level indicator light that illuminates the interior of the container, while the fill level can be easily seen through the standard viewing window. A newly designed extraction box, compatible with various suction lance options, completes the space-saving product portfolio.

pipe coding
In order to differentiate the machines at a coupling station as effectively as possible and to avoid incorrect coupling, there is the option of optical / color coding. In this process, a wide variety of color shades are incorporated into the manufacture of the hose, which are reflected in the optical coding products at Michel Tube, thus ensuring the identification of the material lines.

Switch&Lock 360 hose coupling
The Switch&Lock 360 quick coupling from Michel Tube is characterized by its simple operation, in which the operator only has to put the male and female parts together - without paying attention to the positioning of the female coupling. When assembling, no sealing resistance has to be overcome, as a special seal is used in the system. The coupling is clearly heard and seen by the locking bolt, as it is equipped with a visual gauge / red-backed marking. This means that it can be immediately recognized, especially in poorly accessible locations or at a distance, whether the system is correctly locked. Unlocking the system - even with vibrations - is basically impossible. Due to the guidance of the two bodies and the radii attached to the sockets, it is extremely easy for the operator to thread them in cleanly despite torsion on the hose. The sockets slide over each other first, and then the delivery pipe dips into the socket. The system impresses with two guide tubes, which ensure mechanical stability. The coupling can be inserted at any angle of 360°. To release it, the specially shaped spring bolt is lifted with one hand or two hands. The coupling is available in three materials and therefore price ranges, with the entry-level version consisting of a plastic housing, followed by a version made of aluminum or stainless steel for highly sensitive requirements. As the pipe adapter is always made of stainless steel, the Switch&Lock 360 coupling is generally - in all versions - only equipped with stainless steel parts in contact with the product. If the complete stainless steel version is selected, the system consists of almost 100% stainless steel.

Mounting material
Various assembly materials for pipes and hoses are available from stock at Michel Tube.

colored rings coding on the hose
The hose coding from Michel Tube is available in defined colors, in which pipe connectors and/or hoses are also available. The ring coding is a ring that is placed over the hose and slides onto the hose coupling due to gravity. When the hose is changed, the ring falls out and is not disposed of with the worn hose. The ring coding offers a simple and cost-effective way to identify lines and coupling points with colors. This marks machines and makes incorrect coupling more difficult.

Michel Vario-Wand - the affordable material distributor
The Michel Vario-Wand was derived from the Michel Vario-Tisch. The Michel Vario-Wand combines the advantages of the Michel Vario-Tisch with even greater on-site installation flexibility. The components are delivered individually as an assembly. The panel is hung / mounted like a picture and also serves as a cover plate. Add-on parts such as a collecting tray for granules and/or codings can also be retrofitted. The Michel Vario-Wand can be installed horizontally, vertically and at an angle. Cutting to size is possible on site. This enables the fitter to set up a coupling point on site in the simplest way.

Wear-resistant pipe bends and pipe fittings
Wear-resistant pipe bends or glass pipe bends are available from stock at Michel Tube.

glass pipe bends
A glass pipe bend is used when conveying abrasive, usually glass fiber-reinforced materials - for example polyamide. A glass pipe bend must be used, especially where space is limited and radii are small. If this is installed stress-free and is not mechanically damaged, it can be expected to last for years. This is particularly advantageous when installation space is limited and accessibility is poor. To prevent static charging, a copper tape is glued to the outer radius to transfer the charge via the pipe and earthed at the end of the pipe.

MAG 14.000 - the simple magnetic separator
The MAG 14.000 toggle magnet is a retrofittable permanent magnet that can be installed on any pipe section without rework and prevents material contamination and machine downtime. The MAG 14.000 is ready for use once it is fixed around the pipe. No external energy source is required. The principle of the MAG 14.000 is easy to understand, because the installation creates a magnetic tunnel that can be enlarged by attaching additional magnets. The special feature of the MAG 14.000 is that the ferritic components do not adhere directly to the magnet, which makes cleaning difficult, but to the inside of the pipe. If the magnet is folded away during a conveying pause or at regulated maintenance intervals, the magnetism is eliminated. The ferritic material impurities can be discharged at suitable points. We therefore always recommend installation with a hose, a hose coupling or attachment to a suction lance, as low conveying speeds and a simple discharge point are provided. In principle, the MAG 14.000 is much more flexible and user-friendly compared to grid rod magnets, which are installed in difficult-to-access locations and require more complex cleaning. The price-performance ratio of the MAG 14.000 is also extremely attractive.

OctaCap by seal-IT Octabin Cover
The OctaCap® Octabin cover by seal-IT is a foldable aluminum cover for octabins that can be placed on the octabin in a few seconds. The cover weighs less than 10kg and is available in various octabin dimensions. The lateral edges provide mechanical stability to the cover and the octabin, and allow for the attachment of a material card. The main benefit of the cover is that it protects the material from contamination. Unnecessary moisture absorption of the material is made more difficult. The holes in the cover can be freely configured with a lid, sight glass or suction lance connection. This stabilizes the suction process, as the suction lance can move vertically, and ultimately saves costs by preventing contamination and machine downtime.

VARIO-TISCH with glass pipes
The Michel Vario-Tisch is a flexible modular system of a coupling station that enables all expansions and modifications in the future. In total, there are 10 Michel Vario-Tisch frames that are welded and equipped and are therefore delivered ready for installation. Brackets for transport and for later extensions (cover plates, coding brackets) are laser-cut into the frame. All tables have a uniform height and can therefore be positioned next to each other and one behind the other without changing the operating height. The center distance is the same across all frames, so the Michel Vario-Tisch can be extended in width as required by adding more frames. As standard, the Michel Vario-Tisch has two infeed levels and can be equipped with diameters of 40.0 / 45.0 / 50.0 / 60.3 mm in one frame – in all materials. This means that materials and pipes can be easily converted and rearranged afterwards with the help of the special locking suspension system. Both levels can also be connected to each other using Y-pieces. Panels, platforms and other attachments are completely freely configurable. Basically, a Michel Vario-Tisch coupling station can be configured and requested in a very short time. Dimensions can already be taken into account during the planning phase.
