Conveyor discharge weighers CDW
The CDW is a conveyor discharge weigher for recording flow rates from 25 m³/h. Two versions are available. The scale is installed at the discharge point of a belt conveyor and collects the conveyed material in the hopper, where it is weighed. This static weighing achieves a very high measuring accuracy of <+/- 1 %. It is used when conventional built-in belt scales or solid flow meters are not suitable due to low conveying capacity, special material properties or difficult installation situations. The CDW consists of a weighing hopper suspended from three load cells. The hopper is equipped with a pneumatically operated discharge flap. The XL version has two discharge flaps. Use: - Process control - Batch processes Benefits: 1. Durability - Design and robust construction of the conveyor discharge weigher ensure a long duration of life of the scale. 2. Protection for hopper and flap - All highly stressed parts are made of Hardox and increase wear protection. 3. Quick and easy installation - also retrofitted - Installation directly at the discharge point of belt and conveyor systems 4. Low maintenance effort 5. Very good measuring accuracy - In particular in conjunction with the control unit ModWeigh Batch 6. For low flow rates - The conveyor discharge weigher offers an addition to classic built-in belt scales and solid flow meters, when these cannot be used due to the low flow rate or the installation situation.

Impact scales ImpactWeigh
Impact scales are weighing systems for the continuous quantity measurement of easily flowing bulk materials in vertical process flows. MTS is the manufacturer of the ImpactWeigh impact scales, which have been developed by us and which are available in several sizes for flow rates from 5 up to 600 m³/h. The compact variant IPW S, specially designed for small flow rates from 1 m³/h, extends the product portfolio. The ImpactWeigh is characterised by the newly developed measuring unit, which guarantees a high level of measuring accuracy. The scale has a separate product and measuring chamber as well as large, easy-to-open inspection access flaps. Furthermore, the ImpactWeigh can be equipped with a static testing device for static adjustment of the scale. Use: - Recording in-process material flows - Inventory control - Optimization of truck and wagon pre-loading Benefits: 1. Durability - Design and robust workmanship of the ImpactWeigh ensures a long duration of life of the scale (no moving parts). 2. Protection for impact plate - Special coatings (made of special plastics, ceramics and others) increase wear protection of the impact plate and its gliding properties. 3. Fast and easy installation - Due to its simple structural design and compact dimensions, the ImpactWeigh can be easily integrated into the process route and is also easy to install. 4. Safety - The separation of the product area and the measuring chamber offers special protection for the weighing mechanism and also enables use in Dust Ex Zones. 5. Good accessibility - One particular advantage is the divided measuring chamber, which can also be opened during operation, which makes access to the weighing mechanism easier and enables use in confined space conditions. This saves time and effort during repair and service work. 6. Low maintenance effort 7. Good price-performance ratio 8. Good measuring accuracy – in particular in conjunction with the ModWeigh PPW control units.

Weighing modules VC 3500/ LCM 460 for silos and tanks
The VC 3500 and LCM 460 are heavy-duty modules for weighing silos, hoppers, tanks and mixers. The special construction of the modules permits installation directly between the foundation or substructure and hopper support. The module ensures the optimal force transmission and a very high lift-off and lateral load safety - normally without additional transverse link and captivation mechanics. For nominal loads from 2 up to 200 t. Use: - Fill level and inventory control - For mixer and hopper with agitator - For bunker, also with discharge bottom - Particularly for installations in outdoor areas - For precise silo weighing Benefits: 1. Measuring accuracy - Both modules are equipped with high-precision double shear beam load cells made of stainless steel. The LCM 460 even has an OIML R60 approval C3 for nominal loads up to 20 t. The construction of the module provides optimum force transmission into the load cell, thus ensuring reliable and exact weighing results. 2. Safety - The special construction of the modules protects the load cell from high lift-off and transverse loads, thus ensuring the installation of the weighing module directly between foundation and tank support. No additional transverse and captivation mechanics is required. Slight tilting can also be compensated. 3. Protection - Locking screws in the upper section of the module protect the load cell from such shock loads as may occur upon installation of the silo. An additional ground strape serves as overvoltage protection. 4. Easy replacement of load cell - The load cell is installed in the module in such a way that the load cell can be replaced also without removing the module. MTS offers numerous load cells and modules for silo and hopper weighing. Load cells and modules are selected according to the design, size and construction of the containers, the installation and environmental conditions and the required accuracy.
Micro feeder DosWeigh Belt
The micro feeders in the DosWeigh series are gravimetric dosing scales that are particularly suitable for the controlled addition of fine-grained bulk materials. The DosWeigh achieves a very high discharge accuracy of < +/- 0.5 %. The dosing weigher weighs the materials continuously or in batches and is used for small and medium dosing capacities of 1 to 3,000 litres per hour. +++ The DosWeigh BELT uses a conveyor belt instead of a dosing screw. +++ Application: - For precise weighing and dosing of fine-grained bulk materials such as powders and granulates, especially for abrasive or fragile bulk materials - Continuous or in batches - For small and medium dosing capacities from 1 l/h Advantages: 1. high reliability and low maintenance cycles The stable mechanics of the micro feeder and the optimised coordination of the loosening unit and discharge unit guarantee high reliability and low maintenance cycles. 2. very high discharge accuracy With the ModWeigh DI weighing electronics, the DosWeigh realises precise differential weighing, i.e. material is discharged continuously, even while the container is being filled. 3. precise and long-term stable dosing 4. good price-performance ratio
Weigh feeders VBF/EE
Weigh feeders are conveyor and weighing systems in one, whereby the conveyor belt is designed specifically for the requirements of precise weighing and equipped with a separate weighing section. The scales are particularly suitable for measuring and dosing tasks, weighing light bulk materials or low to medium feed rates. The requirements for the application and product properties of the material to be weighed are determined by the design of the weigh feeder. The VBF/EE weigh feeder is an extremely robust belt scale, which are available in very short lengths from 1,200 mm due to their construction. Use: - Process control - Regulating tasks - Light bulk materials - Truck and wagon loading - Also legal-for-trade Benefits: 1. Highly variable - Belt lengths and belt widths can be individually adapted to application requirements. Belt conveyor optionally available as a flat or troughed belt, with a corrugated edge, in rubber, PVC or FDA-compliant design. In open or closed design. 2. Very robust - The scale has always excelled in many applications, even in harsh industrial use, in dusty environments and in continuous operation. 3. Good measuring accuracy - In particular in conjunction with ModWeigh FBW control units (for continuous quantity recording) or ModWeigh DBW (for regulated weighing and dosing tasks). 4. Durability 5. Low maintenance effort
Control units of ModWeigh series
The powerful control unit of ModWeigh series meets the progressive requirements for precision and user-friendliness. Due to a very fast recording and calculation of measured value, the ModWeighs are ideally used for dynamic weighings: for built-in belt scales + screw-type weighers, weigh feeders, impact scales + solid flow meters, loss-in-weight feeders/ micro feeders and conveyor discharge weighers. The modular design of the control unit is very beneficial. It allows a selection of transmitters and displays according to the requirements of application. The ModWeigh’s work with a high sampling rate and have efficient filter settings. Additional filters support the exact recording of measuring signals, so that the ModWeigh electronics can also be used where plant vibrations can result in disturbances, e.g. in mobile screening and crushing plants. The operation is done via a comfortable menu navigation and a separate keyboard. The bright LCD display (optionally 2.8 inch or 4.3 inch) shows information about the quantity, the current feed rate in t/h as well as further measuring and status signals. Software and operating parameters of the scale are stored on the data stick. In the event of a transmitter failure, the stick can be easily attached to the spare module and all parameters are immediately available. Plug-in contact blocks simplifie the installation, maintenance and service. Use: Continuous quantity recording, dosing tasks, differential weighings. Variants: - Modweigh FBW for built-in belt scales and screw-type weighers as well as for continuous recording of the feed rate - ModWeigh DBW for weigh feeders as well as for regulating and dosing tasks - ModWeigh PPW for impact scales and solid flow meters as well as for simply recording of the feed rate and for weighing with quantity specification - ModWeigh DI for loss-in-weight feeders/ micro feeders as well as for control of continuous dosing processes - ModWeigh Batch for conveyor discharge weighers
