QFS features laser welded and caulked duct (solid seams eliminate leakage) and double sealing at duct connections. All bends, branches, reducers, and other products with joints or collars are epoxy caulked. When clipping the ductwork together, an additional nitrile gasket is placed between the parts to avoid leakage.

Quick-Fit (QF) Ball Joint
Misalignment issues, limited range of motion, and excessive wear and tear are just a few common issues manufactures can encounter with their CNC machines. Nordfab has thoroughly researched these issues and designed a new ducting component, Quick-Fit (QF) Ball Joint, that provides an effective solution to kinking and tearing in flexible duct, allowing more movement in the flexible duct hence improving the overall efficiency and performance rate. Enhanced Flexibility CNC machines require precise alignment to function correctly. Some CNC operations also require components to move in multiple directions. Traditional joints may restrict movement, but Nordfab’s Quick-Fit (QF) Ball Joint offers greater flexibility, enabling the machine to perform complex tasks more efficiently. Its swivel joints allow for movement between flex hose and duct along with a 360 degree stationary plane. This flexibility helps in achieving complex machining tasks with ease. Nordfab High Vacuum Ducting
Nordfab has extended its High Vacuum product range, offering a more comprehensive product range with added dimensions and superior fit. Nordfab's High Vacuum (HV) duct system includes all components needed for a complete and flexible extraction solution. Connections are made using couplings which seal securely. The High Vacuum (HV) ductwork systems are versatile and can be used in various applications across different industries. The systems are designed to ensure optimal air quality, precision, and efficiency, making them a robust solution for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. In addition to galvanised steel, Nordfab now offers High Vacuum (HV) ductwork in 304 Stainless Steel as part of our standard product range. Products in 316SS are available upon requests.
