Project Steel sp. z o.o.
About us
Project Steel is an engineering and manufacturing company focused on conveyor technology, bulk material handling, and industrial steel structures. Founded in 2022, we operate with a lean, responsive organization while relying on the long-term experience of senior engineers and production teams. We help operators and EPC partners turn process requirements into robust, maintainable hardware—delivered with clear documentation and disciplined project execution.
We design, manufacture, and install complete conveyor lines and customized transport solutions for the mining, steel, energy, recycling, cement/lime, chemical processing, warehousing, and logistics industries. Our scope ranges from single machines and modules to full transport routes with transfer stations, platforms, access ways, and integration into existing plants. Depending on the project, we can act as a dedicated package supplier or coordinate multi-scope execution as a turnkey partner, together with trusted partners for electrical and automation integration.

How we work
We prioritize technically correct and economically optimized solutions, tailored to the customer’s operating conditions (material properties, duty cycle, maintenance philosophy, and site constraints). We commit to quality, predictable lead times, and transparent communication—supported by traceable manufacturing and rigorous in-process quality checks. Where required, we support compliance with applicable EU directives and customer standards for machine safety and site integration.

Conveyors, pulleys, and steel structures that are made to last.
Project Steel is a direct manufacturer of belt conveyors, conveyor pulleys, and steel structures, delivering complete material-handling solutions from concept and component selection through detailed design, fabrication, on-site installation, and ongoing service and upgrades. With an experienced engineering team and a well-equipped machining and fabrication shop, we produce conveyor pulleys in standard and custom configurations (approx. Ø245–Ø1400 mm), including drive, tail/return, and snub/pressure types, with in-pulley or external bearing arrangements. Surface options include rubber lagging (various patterns), ceramic lagging, polyurethane lagging with duty-matched Shore hardness, or bare shells, supported by blasting and coating to project requirements. Beyond pulleys, we supply complete conveyors (including mobile units), support structures, platforms, transfer chutes, and guards, as well as process steelwork such as silos and tanks. Our engineering approach covers torque and power checks, shaft sizing and deflection control, shell thickness and stress verification, belt speed and wrap optimisation, and duty-based selection for abrasion, dust, humidity, and temperature—optionally including ATEX conformity where applicable. We provide practical, engineering-driven documentation and quality assurance, including material certificates (EN 10204), WPS/WPQR where required, balancing reports, dimensional inspections, and FAT protocols, plus installation/operation notes on request. Our competences are backed by ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 3834-2:2021 and relevant industry standards for manufacturing and machine safety.

Belt Conveyor PS-650
Application: A universal conveyor with a 2.2 kW drive, designed for transporting materials at a capacity of 20 t/h. The gear motor is mounted on the discharge pulley (⌀ 325 mm). The self-supporting route consists of repeatable segments, enabling configuration of the conveyor with a total length of 12 m. The belt is selected according to operational requirements depending on the type of transported material. Stone transportation. The belt conveyor with a belt width of 650 mm and a length of 11 m operates as a stationary unit, with the possibility of feeding material either at the return station area or at any point along the route after modification of the feed chutes. The conveyor is manufactured in a galvanized version.

Supporting Structure
Application: Supporting structure for a flue gas exhaust installation.

Drive Unit for Belt Conveyor PS 1000 (2×90kW)
Application: The drive unit is the main subassembly of the belt conveyor with a belt width of 1000 mm. The drive version consists of two drive units rated at 2 × 90 kW with cylindrical gearboxes (ratio 1:19). The drive pulleys (⌀ 630) are supported on one side by the gearboxes via gear couplings and on the other side by bearing supports mounted to the side walls of the drive housing. The subframe allows bracing and anchoring to ensure stable installation at the mounting site.

Spoil Discharge Chute
Application: Chute designed to properly direct the stream of transported material within the transfer station, equipped with a replaceable wear-resistant liner. This version is mounted to the discharge head of the conveyor boom and allows positional adjustment in three planes.

Segmental Chutes, Right- and Left-Hand Execution
Application: Subassemblies mounted directly to the boom of a belt conveyor, shaping and discharging the material stream onto the receiving conveyor. The versatility of the solution lies in the ability to adjust the relative position of the segments to achieve the optimal discharge path. In areas particularly exposed to wear, replaceable wear-resistant liners have been applied.

Loop Belt Tensioning Station
Application: Subassembly mounted in the loop-type belt storage system. Belt tensioning is performed by a KPG-type winch with a worm gearbox and a 15 kW motor. Components are corrosion-protected by hot-dip galvanizing.

Drive Pulleys ⌀1030 × 1400
Application: The pulleys are manufactured in two versions, differing in the coupling method with the drive unit and the bearing arrangement within the drive housings. The pulley shells are covered with a 15 mm thick rubber lining.

B1000 Return Station with Loading Hopper
Application: Subassembly installed in a belt conveyor with a belt width of 1000 mm. The hopper sidewalls are made in a reinforced version using channel sections and lined with a rubber layer.

B1400 Belt Conveyor Drive Unit (4 × 250 kW)
Intended use: The drive unit is the main assembly of a belt conveyor with a B1400 belt width. In the presented version, it is additionally equipped with an articulated joint and the first segment of the luffing boom. Drive configuration: Drive units rated at 4 × 250 kW with right-angle gearboxes and disc brakes. Drive pulleys Ø1030, mounted on bearings within the drive housing, coupled to the gearboxes via disc couplings. The sub-drive frame allows anchoring for stabilization at the installation location.

Material Transfer Station
Receiving coal from the B1400 conveyor and distributing the material stream onto two Gwarek 1400 conveyors. The diverter gate is driven by a hydraulic cylinder powered by a local pressure unit. The control system allows both remote and local operation. The gate and chute components are equipped with replaceable wear-resistant liners. The supporting structure is fitted with working platforms to ensure safe operation and inspection of the equipment.
