Sachtleben Technology GmbH is the manufacturer of a web-based inventory tracking and management system for bulk materials. Individual time intervals and automated evaluation of 3D data from permanently installed LiDAR sensors enable inventory tracking of bulk materials in warehouses or storage boxes. A system like a level sensor in a silo only for loose bulk material - a continuous inventory.

OWL EYE® System
The OWL EYE® System is a system for a continuous inventory survey of bulk materials. High-precision LiDAR sensors are installed in your storage facilities and survey your bulk material in 3D. The OWL EYE® software package records and analyses data automatically. The OWL EYE® System is a complete package with integrated database, analysis software and interfaces to the process control system or to the production data acquisition.
Bulk material inventory service
Terrestrial laser scanning is an efficient and highly precise surveying technique for the three-dimensional acquisition of any environment. This technology is used among others in mining, raw material processing, construction or rapid prototyping to generate detailed surface and terrain models. The 3D laser scanner with a range of 1,200 meters and a distance accuracy of 8 millimeters is positioned in various locations to cover the object/ environment of interest. The individual point cloud scans are subsequently registered into a global or local common coordinate system and merged to a single object.
