Tube chain conveyors
Tube chain conveyors are mechanical continuous conveyors with rotating traction mechanism design for the in-plant transport of bulk material. As tube chain conveyers can be employed to transport bulk goods horizontally, vertically and diagonally, they can adept to almost all operating conditions. Depending on the conveyed material several changes in position can be effected by tube bends and /or deflection stations within each transport roadway. We deliver robust tube chain conveyors in various configurations: with horizontal (adjoining pipes), upright (stacked pipes) or vertical alignment in five different sizes with a delivery rate up to 80 m3/h (depending on the transported goods). Besides offering three-dimensional transporting channels and requiring little space our tube chain conveyors offer additional advantages such as a permanently dust and product-tight system, self-lining, easy maintainability, high operating life and low energy consumption. Designed as a space-saving and economic modular construction system by now the „blue“ SCHRAGE tube chain conveyors can be found in almost all bulk goods processing industry sections using process plants. SCHRAGE Plant Engineering designs, manufactures, distributes and mounts reliable tube chain conveyors for bulk goods of all kinds. For all its products SCHRAGE provides maintenance and replacement delivery services. To demonstrate the advantages of tube chain conveying we offer to bring our mobile experimental tube chain conveyor on your site. In our technical centre at Sande we have further stationary bulk conveying test devices available. Screw conveyors
Screw conveyors are implemented for extracting and conveying nearly all bulk materials including fibrous and past-like products. They transport bulk goods by a rotating helical screw blade in a trough or tube. The advantages of screw conveyors are their low fault liability and economy, their reduced place requirement as well their dust-free conveyance. They also offer the possibility to feed and withdraw transport material along the haul road. SCHRAGE screw conveyors can be implemented in all industry sectors. The SCHRAGE range covers various types of screw conveyors such as trough and tube screw conveyors, twin screw conveyors and tempering, cooling and heating screw conveying units as well as mixing screw conveyors and bunker extraction screws. All facilities are dustproof and product sealed. Waterproof and gastight as well as pressure surge protected models are also possible. SCHRAGE Plant Engineering produces high quality screw conveyors, facilities up to 12 m length are deliverable also without centre bearing (depending on scale and design). As a norm the screw conveyors run by an attachable gear motor or spur gear system with coupling, special designs on demand.
Trough chain conveyors
Trough chain conveyors are mechanical continuous conveyors with rotating traction mechanism designed for transporting bulk material by an endless chain of carriers in a closed trough. They can convey horizontally, inclined or vertically. SCHRAGE trough chain conveyors are produced as a modular system. The horizontal and vertical trough chain conveyors differ only with regard to the trough format. In the vertical trough chain conveyor a false floor is installed in the inlet area to prevent overflowing so that the product can be transported steadily into the shaft tower. The whole vertical shaft tower is equipped with a false floor so that by forced entrainment the conveying good can be transported in a continuous flow. SCHRAGE trough chain conveyors are dust and product sealed, water- and gastight versions are also possible. They feature outer or inside bearings, a drop-forged or drag link conveyor chain, sprockets with replaceable segments and wear rails, special designs on demand.
Bucket conveyors
Bucket conveyors are used for the vertical transport of bulk goods. The reliable SCHRAGE bucket conveyors feature buckets on a chain strand, sprocket chain or belt, which are fed continuously with material via an inlet. They transport the bulk goods in the buckets upwards and discharge by gravity or centrifugal force at the bucket conveyor head on to a chute. SCHRAGE Plant Engineering produces and distributes solid belt, chain and contraction bucket conveyors as well as cellular and deflection bucket conveyors and bucket conveyors with moving scoop.
Belt conveyors
Belt conveyors are continuous conveyors that have stood the test in many industrial sectors. SCHRAGE belt conveyors are very reliable, productive as well as environmentally friendly due to their low energy consumption. As there is no agitation during the transport the bulk goods are protected. The advantages of belt conveyors are their high conveying capacity, long conveying distances, low-noise operation, easy and fast assembly, a relatively low energy requirement as well as the robust and high frame construction quality and a long service life. The main components of the solid SCHRAGE belt conveyors are the drive unit with drive drum and geared motor, a tensioning unit with tensioning drum and tensioning facility and the robust frame construction of U-section steel with load-bearing rollers and conveyor belt. The monitoring devices feature belt misalignment switch, release cord, emergency switch etc. On demand SCHRAGE belt conveyors come in various configurations. Belt widths from 400 to 1800 and special designs are available.
Bulk material slide gates
Bulk material slide gates are used for shutting off material streams of all kind. They vary in actuation and form. Manually operated devices are often implemented as emergency or maintenance slide gates to shut off flowing bulk materials. Pneumatically activated or motor-driven bulk material slide gates are for example used to control the in- and outlet of bunkers, silos, storage tanks or chutes as well as of conveying units such as screw, tube chain or trough chain conveyors. SCHRAGE bulk material slide gates are solid all steel welded constructions in self-contained design, sealed by adjustable, all-round stuffing boxes, their end position monitored by initiators. Flange pattern bores are drilled according to SCHRAGE factory standard or customer specifications. Depending on the intended application they can be designed in almost all materials. The robust SCHRAGE bulk material slide gates feature inlet/outlet widths from NW 150x150 to NW 1000x1000 as well as round inlet and outlet profiles. Special designs such as needle valves are possible.
Cellular wheel sluices
Cellular wheel sluices are used to dosage, feed or take out grained or powdery materials or granulates. SCHRAGE cellular wheel sluices are solid welded steel constructions with yoke or shaft-mounted motors, sealed by adjustable all-round glands with oil ring. The rotor comes with 10 or 12 pockets as well as sealing strips or wipers. The hardwearing SCHRAGE cellular wheel sluices are equipped with rotation monitoring by means of capstan housing and proximity switch as well as an inspection opening. Flange pattern bores are drilled according to SCHRAGE factory standard or customer specifications. SCHRAGE cellular wheel sluices are available in nearly all materials and offer inlet/outlet widths from NW 150x150 to NW 1000x1000 as well as round inlet and outlet profiles. Special designs such as timing sluices via gate construction are available.
Double shuttle valves
Double shuttle valves are used to feed and discharge predosed bulk goods (fine and coarse granulates) and are for example applied under filters, cyclones and conveying units. The two flaps of a double flap system open and close in turns so that both flaps are never open at the same time. The SCHRAGE double shuttle valve is a solid welded steel construction, actuated by a pneumatic cylinder or shaft-mounted geared motor. Its end positions are monitored by proximity switches. Flange pattern bores are drilled according to SCHRAGE factory standard or customer specifications. The double shuttle valve is available in almost all materials and comes with inlet/outlet widths from NW 200x200 to NW 1000x1000.
Switch distributors
Switch distributors divert bulk material flows into different outlets. They can be used for dusts, powders, granulates and coarse material. SCHRAGE switch distributors are solid welded steel constructions actuated via hand lever, pneumatic cylinder or shaft-mounted geared motor. They come with a distributor flap, which can be replaced from the outside. Their end positions are monitored by proximity switches. Flange pattern bores are drilled according to SCHRAGE factory standard or customer specifications. The robust SCHRAGE switch distributors can be manufactured in various materials and offer inlet/outlet widths from NW 150x150 to NW 1000x1000. Special designs as bell chute distributors are available on demand.
