UNTHA Deutschland GmbH - a subsidiary of UNTHA shredding technology - specialises in planning, project development, sales and after-sales service for complex shredders and system solutions. The company focuses on the processing of domestic, commercial, industrial and bulky waste, the recycling of waste wood and production waste, document and data destruction and the shredding of e-waste and hazardous waste. The employees also take care of service and maintenance work in order to maintain the efficiency of the UNTHA shredders for the life of the product.
UNTHA shredding technology, headquartered in Kuchl/Austria, develops and produces reliable shredding solutions for a wide range of applications: from the recovery of valuable materials for recycling to the processing of waste for thermal and energy recovery. RS30/40 Recycling: Four-shaft shredders for universal use recycling applications
Advantages of the RS30/40 Recycling The RS class shredders are characterised in particular by their high availability and process stability. In addition, they are functional in design and uniquely productive. A special advantage of the four-shaft shredder is the high quality of the output material, which is achieved due to the efficient material disintegration during the shredding process. The optimised piece sizes and homogeneity of the shredded material are ideal for downstream sorting processes and the extraction of valuable resources. The interchangeable perforated strainer permits the definition of granulate sizes depending on the application case. In general, each RS30 and RS40 shredder can be tailored to requirements, and is available either as a stand-alone solution or as a comprehensive solution. Low maintenance, with high safety standards Other advantages of the compact shredding machines: The low-speed four-shaft shredders are resistant to extraneous objects, and very low maintenance. Advantages of the RS50/60/100 As these machines are modular in concept, the speeds, torques, cutting unit apertures, cutters, perforated screens and sealing variants can be individually assembled for each industrial shredder depending on customer requirements. The rugged construction and the robust cutters make this high throughput shredder particularly attractive for multi-shift continuous operation and integration into existing plants. The middle-range RS class series is particularly effective in difficult recycling applications and in pre-shredding. In contrast to fast-running systems, four shaft shredders are especially resistant to foreign objects, meaning that if a cutting disc hits a foreign object, then the machine stops immediately. On the one hand, this prevents damage resulting to the shredder cutters. On the other, the reliable drive permits frequent reversing, which is particularly beneficial when shredding problematic materials. In addition, the manufacturer has integrated a perforated screen quick-change system as standard, which permits rapid and efficient changing of the screen and guarantees easy operation.

Advantages of the ZR mobil-e The mobile version of ZR, namely the ZR24000 mobil-e, is used for the coarse processing (90 % < 300 mm) of household waste, bulky waste, commercial and industrial waste, waste wood, mattresses, carpets, mixed construction waste, railway sleepers, baled goods and rolled goods. The aim of shredding is to reduce the volume, to produce RDF and to break down the material for downstream processing steps. Areas of application for this type of cutting system include cement plants, recycling, sorting and waste disposal companies, plant manufacturers, RDF power plant operators, operators of waste incineration plants and biomass power plants. With the ZR class, we have developed the most economical 2-shaft shredder with the lowest life-cycle costing (LCC) in its class. As a mobile version, it also offers maximum flexibility. Your efficient single shaft shredder for the powerful processing of very different materials The XR shredder represents outstanding efficiency, flexibility and reliability when shredding different material streams. Advantages of the XR2000/3000 Our low-speed single shaft shredder can cope with even the most difficult of materials. It doesn’t matter whether industrial, commercial or domestic waste, bulky waste, waste wood, metal, pulper ropes or plastic bales. The XR class shredders provide to an equal extent a strong pre-shredder for the recycling of bulky materials, or for the single-stage processing of alternative fuels. Due to the large range of different perforated screens and cutting tools, an XR shredder can be adapted precisely to your technical requirements. Depending on the material and fraction sizing, different cutting systems featuring different blade shapes are available for the RC, C and XC systems. This makes homogeneous particle sizes from 25 mm to 300 mm possible. Large quantities are no problem for the XR: The throughput lies between 10 t/h and 70 t/h, depending on the material properties and the perforated screen diameter. The system blades can easily be accessed via the service flaps, and can easily be undone via their screw connection. The slow rotor speed means that the machine is particularly resistant to foreign objects, meaning that it is protected against damage. Foreign objects can be easily and quickly removed from the shredder via the foreign object flap. An optional hard facing layer also substantially increases the lifetime of the rotors in case abrasive materials are shredded.
