IT5: Compact weighing indicator for panel-mount installation

With its compact dimensions, the new IT5 weighing indicator is designed for panel-mount installation. The new SysTec device is ideal for industrial weighing and control tasks. It convinces with intuitive operator prompting via TFT color touch screen and is also suitable for glove operation.

All connections at the rear of the device are pluggable. The modular concept with 3 internal slots and a wide range of plug-in cards allows a variety of configurations. Thus, the IT5 is a space-saving weighing indicator suitable for various industrial applications.

The IT5 also offers many options in terms of connectivity: In addition to the analog scale connection, Ethernet, USB, digital, serial, analog and fieldbus interfaces are available as options. Control of printers and remote displays is standard.

Another benefit is the fast pulse counting input for the connection of incremental transducers; e.g. for measuring belt speed. In addition, simple PLC functions with digital and analog inputs/outputs are possible.

Software

The following application software is available for the IT5:

ONLINE OP: IT5 ONLINE OP is a universally applicable weighing indicator with fieldbus interface.
CONTROL/ONLINE: IT5 CONTROL/ONLINE is an industrial weighing indicator for use as W&M approved remotely controlled weighing terminal. The modular design and the configurability of the system enable a wide range of applications. The weighing indicator IT5 CONTROL/ONLINE is connected to a process computer via Ethernet. The selectable transfer protocols enable the data exchange with a host system.
BELT: IT5 BELT is a weighing controller for capturing continuously the quantity of bulk material conveyed over a belt weigher (type approval as a legal-for-trade belt scale in preparation).
