Two-way gate, Aeroslide transport, distribution
The Claudius Peters Two-Way Gate is installed in aeroslide systems to guide and control the mass flow. The Two-Way Gate consists of a cylindrical housing. Sealing of one outlet each is carried out by an adjustable gate. By turning the drive shaft, the gate shifts from one material outlet to the other. A flexible sealing ensures that the outlet is sealed dust-tight. The drives can be pneumatic, motoric or manual and are designed with sufficient reserves so that even under aggravated conditions a safe operation is ensured. For cleaning of the Two-Way Gate and for inspection of the gate sealing, the housing is equipped with a large inspection cover. Replacement of the wear parts (aeration fabric and gate sealing) can take place while the Two-Way Gate remains installed by disassembling the top cover or the bottom. Lubrication of the bearings or the drive is not necessary. The end positions can be precisely adjusted and can be indicated by limit switches integrated in the drive.

Two-way tube switch ZR
Application area: The tube switch is mainly used in delivery lines of high pressure systems; however it can also be used in the low pressure range at any time. It is suitable for the transport of dry, non-adhesive or tending to cake dusts and is used for changing the direction of the delivery flow. Material: Case: grey cast iron or cast stainless steel Shut-off cone: grey cast iron or cast stainless steel Seal: rubber, silicone, Viton Design: The tube switch consists of the tube switch case, the swivel arm with the shut-off cone and the pneumatic swivel drive. The closed outlet is sealed with a sealing ring which is pressed against a hardened ring. Electrical equipment: The tube switch has a limit switch (normally closed contact and normally open contact) in each end position at free choice for standard signalling. A Herion 5/2 way solenoid valve is usually used as control valve (other makes of control valve on request). The electrical equipment is supplied in any protection type and any common voltage according to requirement. Operating data: control pressure: approx. 5 bar operating pressure: max. 10 bar Special features: The tube switch guarantees faultless sealing of the stopped delivery stream so that material mixtures in the case of conveying different materials via one system are ruled out. The advantage of this design is that the sealing rings can be replaced without dismantling and shortest standstill times. A different switch design must be selected for the conveyance of adhesive and caking materials. The tube switch can of course also be supplied with electric motor drive and with manual actuation.

By contrast with the filter elements in the BFE filter, the cartridge filters are almost always flowed against from below. The regeneration of the elements also takes place using compressed air. The main advantages of the cartridge filters are the overall more compact design of the filter and the high operating temperature of max. 260°C. UniSort BlackEye
UniSort BlackEye - Bulk goods sorting Reliable sorting of dark objects by type of plastic using HSI UniSort BlackEye is the logical further development of our HSI technology. The camera-based STEINERT technology is also used here. The difference to the standard HSI camera lies primarily in the frequency range analysed. Our UniSort BlackEye, for example, is able to separate light-coloured and black polymers from each other. As with the UniSort Finealyse, mixtures of materials of the same size (50 / 50 fractions) can also be separated in one sorting stage. Because the UniSort BlackEye has the same design as the UniSort Finealyse, it is also characterised by low oversorting. NIR sorting unit with Hyper Spectral Imaging camera technology for optimised sorting of 2D materials Up to 50% more throughput than standard systems Lightweight 2D fractions such as plastic film and bags, as well as paper and fibres, tend to float at high belt speeds due to their low weight per unit area and can only be sorted at low throughput rates with conventional systems. For good performance, all objects should also be separated on the belt and overlapping objects should be avoided. This is less of a problem for applications with 3D material, as the transfer of the objects to the acceleration belt usually ensures sufficient separation. This separation is much more challenging for lightweight 2D components. This is because these flat objects tend to fly and cannot be accelerated to the usual high belt speed of 3 metres per second. As a consequence, the speed of the acceleration belt is usually significantly reduced, which minimises the tendency to lift off (fly) on the belt. However, reducing the belt speed is counterproductive - especially in the area of lightweight 2D objects: Low basis weight combined with reduced belt speed further shrinks the possible throughput per metre of working width of the separator. This makes sorting uneconomical overall due to the large working widths required.
