To determine the mass flow in pneumatic conveyors and free-fall applications the measurement system DYNArad combines the measured values of a radiometric concentration measurement and a velocity measurement (DYNAvel).
The simultaneous determination of these two factors makes this mass flow measurement independent from variable product properties (density, grain size, humidity, friction properties) or process conditions (pressure, velocity, temperature…).

Once the system is calibrated in the process it is not necessary to recalibrate it since it guarantees a very good repeatability of the results.

DYNArad operates contact-free and does not have any moving parts. In this way the possible wear is reduced to a minimum. For the concentration measurement we are using instruments of our long-term partner Berthold Technologies in Bad Wildbad.
