Herding®FLAMELESS
THE CLEAN-GAS SIDE FLAMELESS PRESSURE RELIEF
With Herding® FLAMELESS, the raw-gas side explosion is completely relieved through the filter elements to the clean gas side. The filter elements have a flame‑arresting effect, and only the reduced pressure is vented via the rupture disc installed on the clean‑gas side.
There will be no fl ame spreading to the clean gas side and no smoke discharge during the explosion pressure relief. The clean gas concentration of the filtration is not affected during the relief through the filter elements. The effect of the flame barrier remains unaffected by the temperature impact due to the explosion. The protection system according to ATEX is sustainably maintained by periodic inspections.
