InnoTeer | Sustainable Thermal Asphalt Recycling

InnoTeer supports federal, state, and local authorities in safely decontaminating tar- and PAH contaminated reclaimed asphalt and turning it into a high quality construction material. The goal is to keep mineral road construction materials fully within a closed loop and to avoid landfilling as much as possible.

The process enables the treatment of tar and pitch contaminated reclaimed asphalt directly at existing asphalt mixing plants. As a result, transport distances are reduced, landfill volumes minimized, carbon emissions significantly lowered, and a valuable contribution is made toward broader resource efficiency and climate protection objectives.

The InnoTeer process was developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer UMSICHT and combines scientific expertise with industrial practicality.
