KVT Pinch valve with pipe ends of electrically conductive polyethylene (PE) for an ATEX zone
A valve was required for a pipeline filled with hydrochloric acid.
Further requirements were
that the pipeline fitting can be installed in the ATEX zone,
that the fitting has pipe ends made of electrically conductive polyethylene (PE-1000 ELS) so that it can be welded to a welding neck flange made of PE.
The pinch sleeve was also designed to be electrically conductive on the inside.
