KVT pinch valves are generally operated with oil- and water-free compressed air. As a rule of thumb, the closing pressure should be approximately 2 bar higher than the medium pressure in the pipeline. Therefore, please install a maintenance unit with oil removal, a strainer, and drainage, as well as a pressure reducer, upstream of the electromagnetically or manually operated valves that control the pinch valve.
