Pipe bends and pipe couplings in large radii and diameters

Large-diameter stainless steel pipe bends from Michel Tube are bent in-house using state-of-the-art CNC mandrel bending machines. All pipe bends exhibit minimal ovality, and the pipe ends are calibrated for quick and easy connection with a pipe connector or coupling. Most Michel Tube stainless steel pipe bends are available from stock and are delivered cleaned and packaged ready for installation. On average, we maintain over 100,000 pipe bends in stock at any given time.

Pipe couplings are frequently used in pressure conveying applications. Michel Tube pipe couplings are available in various materials, with galvanized steel being the most common. Standard lengths range from 150 mm to 200 mm. Clamping is achieved using three or four screws. Similar to pipe connectors, a flat gasket provides the seal. It is important to understand that pipe couplings only provide a sealing function for the pipe and cannot withstand pressure surges. We strongly recommend using strain relief for this.
