Pressure equalisation valve

Application area:

According to VGB 112, pneumatically fillable silos and tanks must be fitted with overpressure / low pressure protection. The Mahr pressure equalisation valve is supplied in the nominal diameter DN 200.

Design:

The response pressure is adjusted using sliding weights. The low pressure can be set to between 5 and 13 mbar and the overpressure to max. 40 mbar.

The low-cost alternative is a DN 250 spring loaded overpressure / low pressure protection device
