ROHR2-Berechnung

The ROHR2 calculation is a computer-aided stress and flexibility analysis for industrial piping systems, used in sectors such as chemicals, energy, oil & gas, and district heating. It serves as a standard-compliant strength verification tool and ensures that pipelines can withstand stresses from pressure, temperature, movement, and external influences over the long term.

Key advantages include verifying compliance with standards such as EN 13480, EN 13941, ASME B31.x, and the Pressure Equipment Directive, increasing operational reliability, and preventing damage from overload, vibration, or thermal expansion. Simultaneously, the analysis enables the cost-effective design of bearings and supports, protects equipment and fittings through controlled nozzle loads, and considers special load cases such as wind, earthquakes, or safety valve forces.

Among other things, internal pressure, primary and secondary stresses, thermal expansion, load combinations, fatigue effects, connection forces, and stability under pressure or vacuum are evaluated. The results provide documented proof for authorities, testing organizations, and operators.
