The mid-sized business PUCEST protect emerged in 2006 from the single proprietorship Detlef Bauer, Technical Wholesale in the field of ready-mixed concrete plants, which has existed for 35 years.
The range of products and services is geared to the needs of producers in the bulk goods industry. The company’s key competency is focused on innovation and development.
Products made of PUCEST bring out excellent mechanical properties and achieve an outstanding ser-vice life. After years of research, PUCEST's formulation has been optimized continuously to meet the needs of against extreme abrasive und corrosive attrition. Today PUCEST is the perfect addition to materials like steel, ceramic, PE or rubber which are already used as wear-protection.
PUCEST is characterized by sophisticated and practical innovations and named “troubleshooter“ for every attrition or adhesions. PUCEST will find the solution to every problem – whether wear-protection plates with different steel inlays for containers, funnels, gullies or sleeves; or the cleaning system “easy cleaner”. The company’s products cover a wide range of applications.
The wear-protection solutions offered are standard components on the one hand, but also customer-specific wear protection solutions on the other hand, which are created based on specifications, but also through advice from the company's own technical field service.
In addition to the products, PUCEST protect GmbH offers a wide range of services relating to produc-tion systems, such as systems (dis) assembly and maintenance are offered.
The ongoing testing of new wear protection solutions under the conditions of daily use is an essential aspect of the quality standards of PUCEST protect GmbH.

The PUCEST head scraper
Head scrapers are conveyor belt cleaners that are used to scrape material off the belt. The head scraper is attached to the head drum below the material flow. Cleaning conveyor belts is always a hot topic. Residues cause high costs due to material loss and cleaning expenses. The belts, rollers, and system components wear out prematurely. Efficient belt cleaning is therefore essential when conveying sticky materials. The PUCEST® head scraper is extremely wear-resistant, offers optimal adaptation to the conveyor belt, and is quick and easy to install. The PUCEST® head scraper offers you flawless, belt-friendly conveyor belt cleaning and a long service life for the conveyor belt thanks to low wear. As wear increases, the PUCEST® head scraper can be retensioned in just a few simple steps, ensuring that the contact surface and scraping pressure remain constant. Available from stock at short notice in all standard belt widths.

Lower belt scraper roller
Conveyor belt cleaning at the highest level The PUCEST underbelt scraper roller – an important component for conveyor belt cleaning for greater efficiency. The PUCEST underbelt scraper roller consists of several components: • Drive • Shaft • Scraper blades The patent-pending underbelt scraper roller is used to clean the underbelt. The specially shaped and flexible lamellas ensure reliable removal of the material. UNIVERSAL MIXING ARM
High speed pan mixers regardless of the kind of their origin are subject to the same “illnesses” due to the prolonged operating time. Beginning with arm bearings and ending with a concreted rotor. It’s a real holiday for every locksmith to renew such a rotor. It’s clear that the cost manager will be “happy” about the heavy bill and the production shutdown. To avoid this fear the PUCEST® has developed a universal arm. A mixing arm is suitable for every high speed pan mixer provided that its rotor is weldable. The installation is very simple.

The mixing problem issues were solved. The mixture is mixed only in one direction. Emptying and mixing time is shorted.

PUCEST screen linings
Screen linings with steel insert – for the most extreme stresses in pre-screening Noise reduction significantly lower noise level costs for passive noise protection measures can be saved. The PUCEST Round corner
The optimization of your material flow The round corner of PUCEST® prevents the accumulation of material in the corners. Material is conveyed to the PUCEST® wear plaques, e.g. Hexagon-Protector. System impact bar
Flexible impact protection counteracts attacks at critical points. Impact beams in a new modular design support the increasing cost awareness of companies, without compromising on reliable wear protection. This means that lower maintenance and servicing costs and production downtimes can be combined with very good results. The disadvantages of conventionally installed impact beams are their time-consuming installation and the need to completely replace elements that are often only partially worn. It is not possible to react flexibly in places with only partial extreme wear in this way. Our new development now ensures the optimization of impact wear protection. The innovative system consists of assemblies with module components, a base plate and a guide rail for the module components, which allow a variable arrangement. The base plate can be welded to the base body. The assemblies can be combined with module components made of Pucest 65 Shore solid material and with module components with a hard metal surface for areas with the highest impact wear in order to respond to different wear stresses. The advantages of this system are obvious: it allows for quick and easy replacement of impact beam sections that are really worn. This results in low maintenance and servicing costs. Fan baffle for flexible impact protection
Saving time and money Baffle plates wear to varying degrees during use. The PUCEST® fan baffle allows worn module plates to be removed quickly and easily and replaced with carbide or wear-resistant steel module plates at the points subject to the highest stress. Due to the short time required for the simple installation of the modules on retaining strips, there are hardly any maintenance and servicing costs when replacing worn elements. The previous disadvantages of conventionally installed impact plates, such as their time-consuming installation and the need to completely replace often only partially worn elements, are now a thing of the past. The system A system consisting of modular panels in various material designs that can be freely combined. By combining the PUCEST® PU module plate with highly wear-resistant carbide and/or wear-resistant steel plates for maximum impact wear, it is possible to respond to different stresses. A buffer and clamping strip provides additional safety and stability. The sound-absorbing properties of PUCEST® PU also achieve a significant reduction in noise.

The PUCEST Hexagon-Protector series
This PUCEST®-Hexagon-Protector works on a simple principle: Some of the conveyed material is collected in the hexagon formed catch trays of the impact ( baffl e) protector and thereby forms wear protection with the conveyed material. The wear effect is slowed signifi cantly. Another advantage of the impact (baffl e) plate is given by its elasticity. Coarse grained material (for example, gravel) does not split on impact. The plate size amounts to 500 x 1000 mm

PUCEST Pocket panel and baffle plate
The standard size of the plates is 500 mm x 500 mm with a thickness of 50 mm. The shore hardness should be chosen by customer between A 50-95 °. Baffl e plates can be quickly and easily installed using stay bolts on the back side. This PUCEST® pocket panel works on a simple principle: A portion of the conveyed material, which on the plate rebounds, accumulates in the chambers and thus assumes a buffer function. The wear effect is slowed signifi cantly this way. A further advantage of the baffl e plate is its elasticity. Coarse grained goods (for example gravel) does not crack when collision. The use of PUCEST® pocket panels with material buffer is recommended when using a grain size up to 32 mm. The PUCEST® baffl e plate with step profi le is recommended when using a grain size >32 mm. When using profi le beams of the baffl e plate the most acute impact angles of the transported material are changed for the most part into a right angle whereby the abrasion (scraping) wear effect is being signifi cantly diminished. Baffl e plates achieve thereby excellent lifetimes.

Wear protection plates
PUCEST panels can be cut to shape with any jigsaw and thus screwed as a lining. Also a rolling, rolling or edging of the plates for the desired application purposes is no problem. For example, rolled segments for hoppers, shells for pipes, or edging for belt linings. The shaped lining plates are simply bolted to the base body. Due to the screw connection, no bare metal cleaning of the plant part to be lined is necessary.

The PUCEST blow-in elbow
The PUCEST blow-in arch is used for conveying sand and fine-grained gravel. The conveying material collects in the honeycomb-shaped pockets and thus also serves as wear protection. The blowing bend consists of a 90° bend, which is bolted to the pipe ends with 2 flange rings and 8 hexagon bolts. In the conveying direction there are the honeycomb-shaped pockets that collect the material.

CeraComp Protector
By combining PUCEST with ceramic honeycombs, PUCEST protect GmbH once again proves its extra class in the field of highly efficient wear protection! Ideal for grit sizes from 0.1 to approx. 3 mm. The CeraComp Protector is a composite plate made of ceramic hexagons, which are filled with the proven PUCEST material. This material mix of a very resistant and a softer material means that the PUCEST the PUCEST filling in the hexagons is intentionally worn away during operation. The standard CeraComp plates are 500 x 500 mm in size. The CeraComp panel with stud bolts has a thickness of 19 mm (incl. 4 mm steel rear wall), the adhesive plate has a thickness of 15 mm.
