About us
STEINHAUS GmbH has been in business for 100 years and are a dynamic, soundly based, medium-sized company with its headquarters in the Ruhr area. We belong to a group of companies active throughout the world with around 3500 employees in over 50 enterprises. Our delivery program includes screen panels made from steel, rubber and plastic; wire and plastic conveyor belts; OPTIMA welded slotted screens and industrial filter media; MULTOTEC process equipment and LuCoTec air spring systems.

MULTOTEC Cyclones
Multotec hydrocyclones are used across the world for applications in mineral processing, manufacturing, food processing, waste water treatment and other industries. This industry-proven product range of classification, dense medium and tailings dam cyclones has been optimised over hundreds of applications across the world to improve classification efficiency, provide greater lifespan and reduce energy requirements. MULTOTEC Slurry Pumps
For over 40 years MULTOTEC – a sister company to STEINHAUS GmbH – has been producing a wide range of machines and wear parts for treatment technology. In South Africa, Australia and America – in fact, everywhere in the world in major mineral processing plants – “made by MULTOTEC” is a synonym for high quality, operational reliability and maximum profitability. STEINHAUS GmbH is bringing the tried and tested slurry pumps, together with spare parts fully compatible to other OEM Equipment to Europe. We supply a complete range of pumps for medium and heavy duty slurry applications, including cyclone feed, spirals feed, mill discharge, tailings disposal, filter feed, effluent discharge and spillage. Available with short lead times, the pumps are designed to efficiently transfer abrasive and corrosive slurries in wide range of industries, from mining and mineral processing to pulp and paper and wastewater treatment.
MULTOTEC Spiral Concentrators
The proven technology sorts different materials according to their density using the centrifugal flow. The lighter particles are thus flushed outward and the heavier particles inward. Our spirals are simple to install, are distinguished by their long service life and, as a static system with no moving parts, energy and maintenance costs are reduced to a minimum. Multotec-designed spiral concentrators are used across the world in coal, gold, iron ore, mineral sands, platinum and chrome processing plants and other minerals. We manufacture a wide range of spiral sizes and configurations that can be optimised to your application. STEINHAUS Plastic Conveyor Rollers & Polyurethane Support Rings
Steinhaus Plastic Conveyor Rollers & Polyurethane Support Rings protect your conveyor belts and ensure greater economic efficiency. The use of rings made from our highly wear-resistant polyurethane, in combination with special rollers, means that our idlers achieve optimum service life. An increase in service life by a factor of 3 to 5 as compared with standard rollers is not unusual. Our idlers have a polyethylene wheel tread. In contrast to rollers made from steel, our rollers will not become “razor sharp” in case of a defect, so they will not damage your belt. In addition, their special geometry reduces the likelihood of the rollers jamming.
