Mechatronik Engineer (m/w/d)
Your responsibilities: - You will design, construct, and develop AI-based sorting and recycling systems. This includes selecting, integrating, and testing sensors and actuators such as cameras, X-ray technology, pneumatics, and robotics. - You will create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies. - You will participate in the testing of new machines during prototype construction. You will commission new systems – sometimes on-site at the customer's location – and create/adapt electrical circuit diagrams (e.g., EPLAN). - You will integrate systems in close coordination with mechatronics, electrical engineering, and software development. - You will program PLCs (Beckhoff/TwinCAT), create installation/test instructions, and acceptance protocols. - You will coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and teams, maintain parts lists, support production transitions, and document systems and changes.
