      An ideal discharge unit for poorly flowing bulk materials and slurries. The frame is hydraulically driven. Optionally, the frame can be designed in two or three sections, each driven offset from one another.The system is suitable for bulk material intake as intermediate storage with up to 1,500m³ capacity, and for loading silos. It can be installed in round silos with diameters of up to 8m and achieves a discharge capacity of up to 300m³/h per screw. In combination with up to five discharge screws, the sliding frame ensures uniform material removal across the entire silo cross-section. The system is characterized by high operational reliability, efficient residual emptying, and a maintenance-friendly design.

What is a sliding frame outloading System? A sliding frame is an extremely efficient extraction system that allows non-free flowing materials to be discharged from a flat bottom silo or receival bunker. These bulk materials can easily block the bottom of a silo by forming a bridge of material. The action of the hydraulically driven sliding frame breaks any bridges that may form over the extraction screw and pushes/pulls the material toward the centre of the silo for discharge. Round silos – The sliding frame is built as an elliptical frame, made of solid steel bars profiled to a wedge shape. This elliptical framework with its wedge profile, pushes under the sludge in one direction and draws it toward the discharge opening in the other, thereby allowing near total emptying of a flat bottom silo. Rectangular silos – the sliding frame is constructed as a rectangular “ladder” shape, transferring material from one wedge shaped “step” of the “ladder” to the next as it oscillates back and forth. This design is suitable for steel or concrete silos or bunkers. Technical details: - Round and rectangular sliding-frame outloading capacity up to 250m3/h (325yd3/h).       Ganter is expanding its range of indexing plungers with a technical treat. The newest addition, type GN 817.7, is pneumatically actuated and can be seamlessly integrated into automated processes thanks to state-of-the-art sensors. There aren’t actually any indexing plunger variants lacking from Ganter’s portfolio. Nevertheless, the development team consistently succeeds in integrating new functionality that opens up new application possibilities. The most recent indexing plunger development is pneumatically actuated. Plus, the part also detects both end positions with just a single sensor. This makes GN 817.7 a logical advancement over the manually operated indexing plunger GN 817.6. The new variant can also be used in hard-to-reach locations and can be integrated into automated processes. What’s more, GN 817.7 can be used as a replacement for GN 817.6 without any changes in dimensioning or signal processing. The position detection of GN 817.7 is once again based on proven magnet technology but with some important new innovations. Not only are both end positions now detected but they can also be individually defined. The sensor teaching can be performed directly on-site with a small operating element on the sensor, which is held in place by a clip and supported by a cable. There are even LEDs for visual feedback. The other option for teaching is to use the convenient IO-Link feature via the system control unit. This standardized interface makes teaching a quick affair and also allows for immediate replacement in the case of faults, which significantly reduces downtime. The high signals upon reaching the respective end positions are transmitted directly over the 4-pin M8 cable plug to the control unit of the system.       SmartDS Dynamic Explosion Detection is designed to provide high-speed detection of an incipient explosion with the highest level of false alarm immunity available for active explosion protection solutions. The SmartDS detection system is programmable to accommodate a wide range of hazard and process conditions, including vacuum and positive pressure applications. The SmartDS system has the ability to analyze rate of pressure rise and to differentiate this from non-explosion pressure excursions. The IEP Technologies SmartDS system is comprised of a MEX-3 dynamic explosion pressure detector and FAB-4 Field Connection Box. The MEX-3 is designed to be flush mounted to protected process vessels using the MEX-3 stainless steel mounting flange. The Mex-3 Dual pressure sensors are used to increase the level of false alarm immunity. The SmartDS system features include a history buffer for event recording, hygienic design, stainless steel body for demanding process environments, and ATEX approval. The FAB-4 Field Connection Box processes the data collected by the MEX-3 detector and generates the appropriate alarm or trouble/fault signal. SmartDS Evaluation Software can be used to download detector settings, event logs, and both short term and long term pressure data to a personal computer in order to facilitate event investigation and analysis—a key feature.
