The CPA 2-1 is an automated laboratory solution for determining particle size and shape, operating within a measuring range of 20 µm to 30 mm – ideal for products such as sugar and salt, fertilizers, sands, plastic granulates and more.
In contrast to traditional sieve analysis, dynamic image analysis captures:

• complete size distributions of the entire sample
• shape parameters such as roundness, length-to-width ratio and feret diameter

Because 100% of all particles are measured, the system delivers highly precise, reproducible and meaningful results – even for heterogeneous mixtures. The fully automated measurement process also enables high sample throughput with minimal operator effort.
