      The SAL (Sanitary Airlock) is a low capacity rotary valve with a highly polished surface on both the inside and outside. The SAL is specially designed for metering purposes in applications where stricht hygienic standards are required. Ease of operation and cleaning make the SAL very suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries. The complete valve can be dismantled for inspection and cleaned in a matter of minutes, thus reducing eventual downtime and production loss. The SAL is available in 5 sizes: DN50, DN65, DN80, DN100 and DN150, with capacities of 0.07, 0.13, 0.25, 0.8 and 2.5 litre per revolution at 100% fi lling. Larger sizes are available on request.

      The USAL rotary valves have been designed by DMN-WESTINGHOUSE for many applications in the metering and pneumatic conveying of products in powder and granular form. Due to the modular design of this extensive and flexible range of valves many different configurations are available, using standard components. The USAL valves are also available with two optional bodies in various material sorts, one having round-round flanges (AL) and one having round-square fl anges (AML). The USAL valves are available in 3 consecutive sizes: 200, 250 and 300 covering a capacity range of the rotor from 5,5 to 19 liter per revolution at 100% filling.

      Our rotary valves are suitable for powdery and finely grained bulk materials. Please specify the range of grain sizes when making your enquiry. The bulk material must have good conveying and flow properties. Because both the rotors and housings are precision-finished to the narrowest tolerances, the rotary valves made by Barl feature the highest possible degree of sealing integrity. Adjustable end plates are as standard as the outside bearing. The rotary valves are naturally also available in both pressure-shock-proof, ATEX-compliant and flame-propagation-proof design. The respective EC design test certificates are available!

      For dosing, sealing, feeding, discharging as well as measuring of bulk-solids. They are used for a broad range of bulk-solids like ashes, coal, cement, sewage-slurry, plastics, crystalline acids, methyl cellulose, carbon black or any other products in dusty or grainy condition. Standard Rotary-Valves work on the principle of volumetric-transport. The bulk solids are falling from the Inlet section into the mostly star shaped chambers by force of gravity. While the rotor is turning, a determined volume of the bulk-solid is moved towards the outlet. Based upon the fixed geometry of the rotors chambers, the conveyed volume is well defined. Our product-range provides various options, designs and materials. We offer a standard-product made from cast-iron, where all parameters which are not related to the housing can be configurated to match your bulk solids characteristics. Over and above we produce Rotary-Valves as a weld-construction, which are available in all customary materials. We provide plenty of options and extra equipment to perfectly serve all of your requirements, which arise from the conditions of your bulk-solid. As a result of our long-term development, we are able to provide standard Rotary-Valves for cement and rough materials in welded-design in highest quality with short delivery times and at an exceedingly competitive price. Our sizing ranges from 80mm – 2300mm rotor-diameter.

      Depending on the requirements, the Rotonivo® rotary paddle switch is used as a full, demand or empty detector in storage silos or process vessels and is suitable for use in almost all solids. With its simple electromechanical measuring principle it can also be adapted for extreme process conditions. A motor driven shaft causes the vane to rotate. Once the material level reaches the vane, thereby preventing further rotation, this creates a torque, which is converted via a switch to an electric signal. Once the vane is free again of the material, the output signal is reset and the motor driven shaft rotates again. This reliable and maintenance-free limit switch for safe level detection in bulk solids has international approvals for use in gas and dust hazardous areas and is also certified to SIL 2.       The SHW rotor is the ideal discharge unit for nearly all poorly flowing bulk materials. The drag arm position and drive torque automatically adapt to the flow behavior of the bulk material. The system is highly versatile and is particularly suitable for bulk material reception and intermediate storage. It is specifically designed for round silos with diameters of up to 7 meters and enables uniform bulk material distribution throughout the entire process chain. In combination with the proven SHW unloading system, stable bulk material bridging can be effectively prevented, even in silos with unfavorable geometries. Discharge is continuous and reliable, with a conveying capacity of up to 300 cubic meters per hour per discharge screw. Up to six discharge screws can be fed simultaneously, ensuring exceptionally high operational efficiency. Thanks to its extremely robust design, the system offers high availability and a long service life. An optional wear protection system can be integrated to provide extended durability, even when handling highly abrasive bulk materials. The maintenance-friendly design simplifies operation and minimizes downtime. Overall, the system provides a reliable and high-performance solution for a wide range of bulk material applications.

      The bag filter INFA-VARIO-JET AJV is especially suitable for dedusting pneumatic conveying processes of bulk materials. All parts in contact with the product are manufactured of stainless steel serially. Because of the round construction, the bag filter is applicable for overpressure / low pressure up to +/- 0.5 bar. But this filter series can be used generally for all cases where a product / dust / air mixture continuously arises over a long period of time. It is also suitable for de-dusting of mechanical transporting and manufacturing processes.
