AZO®eDos Dosing system for precise dosing of small quantities
In the food, plastics and chemical industries, precise and clean dosing of bulk materials is crucial for the quality of the end product. With the newly developed eDos system, AZO presents a latest-generation dosing solution. It is particularly suitable for the exact dosing of small quantities in automated processes. At the heart of the system is a dosing unit made of wear-resistant polyurethane (PU). It is optionally available in a food-compliant or silicone-free version. Thanks to its innovative design, there are no moving metal parts in the product flow. This means no metal abrasion, minimal maintenance and maximum process reliability. Dosing itself is carried out by a servo-electric dosing gripper, which opens the PU dosing lip by applying targeted pressure, thus releasing a precisely defined material flow. Accuracies of up to ±1 g and a dosing capacity of 650 l/h are possible. The dosing process remains precise even with abrasive or difficult-to-flow products. The system is rounded off by an integrated dust extraction system and a pneumatic knocker. This not only optimises discharge, but also significantly reduces dust formation – a real advantage in terms of cleanliness, occupational safety and environmental regulations.

B1000 Return Station with Loading Hopper
Application: Subassembly installed in a belt conveyor with a belt width of 1000 mm. The hopper sidewalls are made in a reinforced version using channel sections and lined with a rubber layer.

B1400 Belt Conveyor Drive Unit (4 × 250 kW)
Intended use: The drive unit is the main assembly of a belt conveyor with a B1400 belt width. In the presented version, it is additionally equipped with an articulated joint and the first segment of the luffing boom. Drive configuration: Drive units rated at 4 × 250 kW with right-angle gearboxes and disc brakes. Drive pulleys Ø1030, mounted on bearings within the drive housing, coupled to the gearboxes via disc couplings. The sub-drive frame allows anchoring for stabilization at the installation location.

BAG DUMP STATIONS
Flexicon bag dump stations (also known as manual dumping stations) collect dust generated when dumping powder and bulk solids from bags, boxes, drums, and other containers, and return the material to the hopper. The system reduces material waste and eliminates the need to clean a remote dust collection site, while protecting workers and preventing plant contamination. All units feature a high-velocity vacuum fan that draws airborne dust away from the operator through two cartridge filters that are sized according to the application.

Bag filling machines
Our PLC-controlled bag filling machines – also bagging installations or baggers – are available as standard for bags with net weights of 5 to 50 kg. Arodo systems can be adapted for a wide range of bag types: preformed bags made of paper, PE or PP, tubular film bags only in PE, or a system that can fill both types of bags. Safe transport of the spread bag to the sealing station is ensured by a pick-up mechanism that takes the bag step by step from station to station. The systems can be fitted with different dosing units to accommodate the most diverse of product properties.

Bag intake & screening machine VIB & PRESS
The product intake station VIB & PRESS is used for the intake and control screening of powdery products, especially for difficult products which tend to forming clumps. With the innovative control screener VIB & PRESS from Daxner, two actions are performed at once: Besides the vibrating screen (VIB), which performs the screening action, the product is pressed through the flat screen (PRESS) by slowly rotating paddles located just above the screen mesh. Agglomerations and lumps in the products are dissolved gently. The vibration keeps the screen free of residue and cleans it at the same time. The paddles are driven by a geared motor with variable frequency drives. The entire top of the machine can be removed by a simple tilting mechanism, which enables a fast and easy cleaning. Optional design with a controls systems and complete wiring “plug & play” also available. Also a permanent-magnet for the separation of magnetic impurities can be incorporated.

Bag vacuuming stations - AROVAC®
Is packaging products with a large quantity of air also such a challenge for you? Arodo has developed a unique AROVAC system to do this. We are at present the only machine manufacturer in the world who can vacuum package products such as cement. We also use this system to vacuum pack products with long shelf lives such as powdered milk. Advantages: no (micro)perforation required in the bag, water- and weather-resistant, no influence of humidity and oxygen, clean bags, no dust or odour nuisance. For use as a complete machine or as part of another machine. Alternative solutions to pack similar products are available as well. Capacity: up to 1,000 bags/hour.
