The ANTIDET Relief protective system serves to relieve the explosion pressure and other products of an explosion into the environment of the protected facility. It is a passive element and does not in any way involve itself in the burning process during an explosion. As all explosion venting systems require a delineation of a sufficient safety zone for venting explosion products, which forbid the presence of individuals, barriers, or environment at risk of an explosion. It further requires the integration with the explosion venting system.

For severe encrustations or large blockages in silos and vessels, controlled explosive cleaning is used. Targeted charges break up hardened material deposits and restore product flow without causing damage to the installation. This highly specialised method is carried out exclusively by certified personnel authorised for explosive operations.

MOTEC develops and designs intake elements specifically tailored to the needs of our customers. Our target is to capture the substances that are released directly at source, thus protecting the environment from contamination. For this purpose, we find solutions for a wide range of applications, e.g. filling and filling processes, cleaning and working stations, transport-, mixing and grinding processes, as well as sorting systems. Our intake elements are Vortex Extraction Hoods and Vortex Slot Extraction Units. Compared to conventional suction hoods, these are significantly more efficient with the same or even lower suction volume flow.
